The rooms are a little small but they are nice! The bathroom was nice too. All of the employees we encountered were very friendly. Check in and out was smooth and easy. The breakfast was also very good. They had a lot of different options food and drink wise. Location is also very nice, it's only a minute or two up from some dining options and everywhere else you'd need to go is all under 8 minutes away. I would definitely stay here again!

Good value for money. Very nice and professional welcome. Human interaction does make the difference! Spacious rooms and communal areas. One thing that really should improve for me to come back is the insane amount of plastic used at the breakfast buffet. Literally every plastic utensil and cup was wrapped in plastic and even the entire counter in plastic wrap. Showing environmental awareness is not optional anymore.

I would NEVER go to LA QUINTA hotel EVER AGAIN!!! They don’t even deserve 1 star for this review!!!! This hotel is DISGUSTING. They obviously DO NOT clean rooms and get rid of bed linen. I woke up with bed bugs in the bed. I have visible bites on my chest and my lower back. The Indian lady Tina at the front seat including her manager Poo Jah had the audacity to tell me that I brought bed bugs with me to the hotel. They claimed that they stripped the bed and inspected the entire room. However, Tina came into the room and personally picked up a bed bug and put it in a cup. Tina also advised me that if I wrote a google review that I would not receive a refund for the cost of the room. Tina and Poo jah were extremely rude and unprofessional. They never intended on issuing a refund in the first place. I am so upset that I did not read the review posted from last week about someone that got over 60 bed bugs bites prior to this incident at this hotel. This experience has been horrible and I am very upset with the way that this has been handled. I will be writing corporate about this incident. LA Quinta should be shut down as far as I am concerned. I am so DISAPPOINTED and DISGUSTED with the outcome. NEVER BOOK A ROOM AT LA QUINTA!!!

Room was excellent! Roomie and quiet beyond a standard hotel due to great modeling. However, the first floor dining area needs lots of updating. The furniture is very old, likely cast off from another hotel and there's way too much of it. The seating is so tight because of the quantity that it's difficult to get into it and out of the tables. Breakfast food was just okay, at the level to be expected nowadays from a hotel unfortunately.

After careful research I booked a room at the LQ Covington GA and stayed there from 6/05/24 to 6/06/24. My family drove over 10 hours prior to stopping. At check-in, the front desk clerk, neither friendly nor unfriendly, looked up my reservation and started the check-in process. Not once was I recognized as a multi-year Wyndham Rewards member. He requested my ID, so I provided him my Department of Defense (military) ID. He said he needed my drivers license only. I asked him why and he said it was management's policy. I again asked the reason he needed my drivers license and he told me I could discuss this with management in the morning. It was after 8 pm and I was very tired. I asked him to explain the reason he would only accept my drivers license, when he could clearly see on my military ID that I was the person who had the reservation. He kept repeating that I needed to ask management. I reminded him that since he was the person requesting my drivers license, he should know the reason why it was the only proof of identity that he would accept. He repeatedly shrugged his shoulders and said, to ask management. I have no idea what he would have done if I said I didn't have a drivers license, but I would bet that he would have to accept a different form of ID, especially if I were a foreigner or illegal alien. I finally had enough of his nonsense and gave him my drivers license, which he scanned with some sort of device. I was very upset by this and decided to speak with the manager in the morning. Of course, most guests who are driving far distances check out early in the morning. When I asked to speak with the manager, I was told that the manager does not arrive until after 8;30 am. I left the property and sent an email to the manager after arriving back home. The manager was of no help whatsoever, glossing over my concerns and erroneously stating that all hotels in the U.S. require drivers licenses or passports as proof of ID at check-in. He is wrong about that because I have traveled the country and have never had to provide my drivers license to check in to a hotel. I have stayed at Wyndham, Choice, and IHG properties and this has never been a problem.||The sign posted at the front desk states that an "official ID" is required a check-in. A military ID is an official ID. The sign does not state that a drivers license or passport is required at check-in. The manager said there is no requirement for the front desk to recognize rewards members, but every other Wyndham property extends this courtesy. Also, every satisfaction survey I receive asks me if the hotel recognized me as a rewards member (I only state this to make the point that the manager is mistaken on several points). ||Regarding the property, it's clean and conveniently located. The ladies who ran the breakfast area were polite and helpful. Despite these niceties, I will probably keep driving past this property & stay somewhere else because I make every effort to protect my personal information.

When we walked in we were greeted with a smile amd a welcome. The room was clean, comfortable and the hotel is very quiet. We stayed for 4 nights and all the staff was very friendly. The breakfast was nice and hot and lots of seating. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to Covington!

Room was very dusty, had to wipe everything down. (Photo of used wipes is included) Room was a very good size but both room and bathroom were very dark, we bought a lamp from goodwill to provide extra light, but was still insufficient. Breakfast was terrible, no choice of bread for toast, only nasty looking white bread. The lady who was is charge was lovely, friendly and kind. The towels were changed each day which was very nice. However due to both our rush to leave at the end of our stay and the badly lit rooms, my diamond engagement ring was left behind. I called the hotel from our next stop to ask if someone had handed it in, they hadn't and management just figuratively shrugged their shoulders. Will not recommend and will certainly not stay again the next time we visit that area.

What a DUMPster fire this place is. There was hair in the tub and bedding. Unidentifiable smears on the bedding. Front desk employee took a towel from the bathroom and wiped the tub out, dropped the towel on the bathroom floor and left. The maid picked the hairs up off the bed, dropped the on the floor and said “there you go” and left. The bathroom smelled like it had just been used. Crusty fingernails in the carpet. My child’s knees were filthy and black after playing on the carpet. Urine on the toilet seat. Desk clerk was rude and disinterested. Completely unacceptable.
