La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Claremore - Hotel in Claremore - 774 S Lynn Riggs Blvd, USA

I didn't want to do this. I stayed here a couple of weeks ago. Was hoping it would be taken care of internally, but guess not. When we arrived, the front desk clerk was very welcoming. She gave us the breakdown of the hotel and described all amenities. She then gave us our room key, and advised us that there were going to be acouple of high school softball teams coming in later, but we shouldn't worry because the room that she put my family and I in was away from theirs. That was not the case. The girls on the team were running in and out of the rooms so much that the coach had to later come in and place tape on the outside of the doors to make sure they didn't leave their rooms anymore. That's not the worst part. Upon entering the room, the smell was horrible. The room itself was dirty. There were splatter marks on the doors, and the mirrors looked as if they were washed with a grease rag. The amount of dust and grime was disgusting. The phones didn't work, and the thermostat couldn't be read, so I had to guess what temp it was set at. Needless to say, I didn't get much sleep due to noise and being uncomfortable. I tried to advise the staff the next morning, but they seemed uninterested. I addressed the matter through email but received no response. In closing, if you're looking for a place to stay in Claremore, I'd suggest somewhere else until they make major improvements.

If I could tell you to RUN or sleep in your vehicle over this, I absolutely would. Rooms were discusting. Mold EVERYWHERE!! Headboard had syrup all down it. Our comforter had stains on it and NO stuffing. It was literally a sheet. Smelled awful even though we were in a non-smoking room. Carpet was sticky, our socks stuck to them. We were scheduled to stay there 3 nights and left night 1. Still got charged for the full night even though it was disgusting. I complained to the guy checking us out and he said "I hear it all day everyday about the mold." Sad. RUN to the Hampton Inn. AMAZING! CLEAN! GREAT SERVICE and we got a suite for the SAME price as this nasty place. We came here 5 years ago and it was good, went downhill fast.

Beware this location is a franchisee and is not operated by Wyndham. You are on your own regarding issues with this hotel.||Following a recent 1 day stay at La Quinta in Claremore OK, my credit card account showed an additional charge. I contacted the hotel and was advised after checking out, a clerk said I returned and requested an additional day. I informed them this was a mistake as I continued traveling to Missouri immediately following check out. I offered to show them my toll records and reservation (at another hotel) for the following day and night. I was told the GM would call me back. I followed up a couple more times but the GM never called me back. I contacted Wyndham Customer Care and was informed this location was a franchisee and Wyndham had no control or access to this location’s day-to-day operations and I needed to work directly with the hotel. I repeatedly contacted Customer Care and informed them the hotel was not responsive. Customer Care agreed to reach out to the GM regarding this issue. After the GM failed to respond to Wyndham, Customer Care agreed to refund the additional charge six weeks after originally reporting the issue. Kudos to Customer Care and shame on this GM.

Positive: Breakfast bar, Nice lobby area Negative: The elevator was not working right the evening we came in, but it was fixed after a little while the next morning. Room seemed clean, but had a different odor to it.

This is a pet friendly hotel and it was filthy. The floors in the room was so dirty and the hallways and elevator had dog urine markings throughout. The bedding was very worn-out. The hotel was dated and unkept. Staff was nice and helpful.

We stayed here recently and if there was a way to put zero stars for my review I would. Hotel was understaffed and dirty. Problems with reservation from the get go! The front desk called our service animals "pets" which there is a significant difference. Really you don't know the difference? They argued with us about the pricing and the reservation even though we called numerous times and confirmed. Very unprofessional. The rooms were dirty and I'm don't mean dusty. The toilet and stool did not look like they had been wiped down for months with noticeable urine streaks. Toilet seats need to be replaced. Just Gross! There were also noticeable stains on bedskirt and headboard too. There was problems with A/c thermostat and paint/sheet rock peeling. This hotel needs a serious deep clean and maintenance. The stopper in the tub was even missing. The elevator sounded like it was in need of major repair as it made loud banging, popping sounds every time you used it. I just think this hotel does the bare minimum and it shows it! Lots of cigarette butts and trash near the front entrance isn't a good first impression. Also there's a very loud train that passes by multiple times even overnight that blares it's very loud train horn. It will wake the dead! This hotel was a BIG DISSAPOINTMENT for the brand. The front desk Staff says they'll follow up with things but they are just telling you that to pacifier you so you will leave them alone so they can go talk on their phone or smoke. Do not book a room here if visiting the area!! Stay someplace else unless you want a huge hassle!!

We got the handicap accessible room but the width between dresser and bed was not wide enough for wheelchair and no shower chair in shower. Breakfast was good. Location was great to get to restaurants and it was close to Roger state college where we were visiting

Staff was always friendly, professional and quick to respond to our needs. They were extremely busy, but assisted us as quickly as possible. But, my opinion is they were overworked. I have never given a negative comment and La Quinta has always been our stay of choice. I think management may need to rethink some things.
