La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Butte - Hotel in Butte - 1 Holiday Park Dr, USA

This is the best La Quinta hotel I've stayed in.||I stayed here one night while passing through Butte on motorcycle trip trying to use up my pile on free Wyndham nights.||I'll admit I was a little uneasy after reading a a couple of negative reviews, but I always take those with a grain of salt when the poster has only ever done a handful of reviews.||Here's what made this place a poster child for a budget hotel.||My room with a king size bed (403) was spacious, quiet, the bed was comfortable, the tv was large and they even stocked plenty of towels that were better than average. I'd put this room on par with what you'd get with one of the latest editions of Marriott's Fairfield Inns.||The staff was friendly and seemed to genuinely care about my stay.||Normally I skip the complimentary budget hotel breakfasts, but I ate this one. I just can't choke them down, but this one was above average; ham, eggs, biscuits, waffle maker, hard boiled eggs and continental breakfast items. I also grabbed a couple of granola bars to go.||You won't mistake for a good cafe, but it was helped me get out the door without making an additional stop.||I feel well-qualified to write this. I'm a Marriott Rewards lifetime platinum and Wyndham diamond member. That's a lot of hotel stays.||Although it's right off the freeway, it's just a five minute drive to the city's historic downtown.||Keep up the good work.

I love everything about this hotel. It is really clean and comfortable, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The views are great, and they serve a really good free breakfast as well. The location is great, as there are restaurants, grocery stores, and coffee shops close by.

The hotel rooms are nasty… The first room we bed wasn’t made it, went and told the front desk she apologized and gave us a different room. We get to that room and right when you walked in it smelt like mold and mildew. My boyfriend had the gal come up to the room and we had her smell the room and then showed her the 1st room we had.. She apologized we told her fault she felt miserable.. She had us look at another room we told her it will work.. we didnt use anything we were tired and beat from traveling we will never go back… I usually don’t sleep in my street clothes but me my boyfriend and my son slept in out street clothes…

We stayed at this property due to the price and being close to the job sites I had to visit and the fact that they offered a "hot" breakfast and none of the other properties in the are offered a breakfast. The breakfast that was offered was anything but hot (eggs, sausage, and gravy was cold and potatoes were not cooked all the way through). I also had a dog in the room next door that barked/yapped for 2 nights in a row and the staff did not address the issue in a proactive manor.||I will pay more to stay at a quality motel going forward when I have to come back to the Butte area.

Staff at La Quinta in Butte, MT were courteous and attentive to the needs of our large group. They were well prepared for our arrival and followed up to see if we needed anything else. Excellent customer service. Nice rooms. Highly recommend.

Worst experience EVER! We found molded old food (a biscuit) behind the headboard of our bed. After looking around found more random junk behind and around both beds. I honestly don't think the room was cleaned very well with all the crap I found. Washer, dryer and jacuzzi are all out of service. We were there for a little league baseball tournament and had to go to a laundromat to do our sons laundry. Super inconvenient. Others from our team also had to do the same. One of the other parents had asked to wash jerseys at the hotel and a staff member said they couldn't do that. No one from our team washed jerseys at that location. The Night staff lady was super nice, but the manager was a complete a-hole! Pretty much tried to brush off the fact that the room wasn't clean. We requested to move rooms the next morning because our son was already sleeping after playing numerous games that day, and it was almost 10pm when we found the old food. Waking our son and moving a room full of stuff (family of 5) at 10pm was not an option. The manager said he couldn't do much for us because our room rate was already discounted for a room block that the team had. DO NOT recommend this hotel and will NEVER be returning! Worst experience ever at a hotel and we travel A LOT for baseball. Extremely frustrating and disgusting.

It was great to have an ADA room with a roll-in shower. The shower curtain also needs to be positioned closer to the floor to minimize water splashing all over the bathroom floor. Unfortunately, the shower head would not stay in place. The controls and shamppo/conditioner are not within reach on the person using the bench. The toilet seat was high enough, but the controls at the sink were not really usable by a person in a chair. We had a great nigh of sleep, and the room was nice and clean.

This place needs to spend some money on repairs. The hot tub isn't working. It won't get hot. The dryer is out of order. And most importantly the elevator is broken. I'm disabled and had to walk up 2 flights of stairs. I won't stay here again. And they don't have a pool. Kevin, I believe it's the manager, was very friendly and truly cared about his guests.
