La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Buffalo Amherst - Hotel in Buffalo - 145 Inn Keepers Ln, USA

Great location, deluxe room was spacious. The lobby was nice and modern. Coffee, hot water and tea was available 24/7 at the breakfast area. We stayed for 2 nights. However, there are quite a few things that could be better. - bathroom cleanliness, there was a mouldy strong smell that lingered throughout our entire stay - bright flashing fire alarm light, which could be annoying to parent(s) with young babies and kids - breakfast lacked quality - fridge didn’t work, when asked for mtce no one ever showed up - house keeping is only towel replacement - doesn’t provide cribs for babies and toddlers

For a $250 charge we were extremely dissatisfied. We’ve stayed at La Quinta’s in the past and have had favorable experiences but this location was one of the worst we’ve ever had. We arrived on a Saturday at check-in time (3p). Younger gentleman working with an airpod in his ear. Did not greet us immediately or even say hello once he finally did. Arrived to our room and the bathroom floor looked like there was a leak previously. Very gross looking, grout was dirty around toilet, though leak appeared fixed. Throughout the room there were stains on carpet, chair, lots of spider webs throughout the corners of room and AC unit. Thankfully, we rented this room for one night only and were not in it much. The bed was comfortable and did not appear dirty which was the only upside off the stay. We came back to the room at night and were hit with a god awful smell of poop, though we had not used the bathroom and hadn’t been in the room for at least 5 hours. The next morning we took the ironing board out of the closet and it immediately fell apart as it was broken. The shower was awful – LOW pressure and none of the shower head spray settings worked. I usually feel somewhat comfortable in hotel rooms but this room was so gross I refused to walk around without my sandals. Breakfast was gross, aside from the waffles. FINALLY we were greeted by someone at checkout the next morning at 11a. Needless to say, we won’t be staying at this location ever again.

Location is a little out of the way, but for the PRICE, you can't beat this hotel. Was like 115 for the night, and the room was clean, spacious, and comfortable (was a 2 queen "suite"). The pool was decent, and the breakfast in the morning was nothing too fancy, but it was good and plenty to get you going to hit the road or go see the falls or whatever you're doing. I had several fried eggs with some sausage and bacon with coffee. My wife made a waffle and that was good too. They had plenty of the usual options like cereals and muffins too. As I said, for what you get for the money, I'll stay here again.

La Quinta in Buffalo, New York, exceeded my expectations in terms of location, room, and service. The hotel's central location provided easy access to attractions and dining options. The first time there was visiting for vacation. One of the main reason I booked the hotel that they have breakfast included, and they have an indoor pool. Honestly, I was very disappointed, as breakfast wasn't good whatsoever and the pool wasn't as expected. When we checked in the overnight staff member wasn't that friendly or welcoming!! We tried to ask for a room upgrade and pay the difference he immediately said no we are fully booked without even checking!! Also room service they only replace the towels they don't change bed sheets or anything. Other than that, the location was good.

This hotel was a disappointment. The location was great. Twelve minutes from the airport, 18 miles from Niagara Fall, and it was very close to several restaurants. Our disappointment came with the hotel itself. We had the noisiest room ever. When the air conditioning came on, you could hear it in the hallway. When you turned on the bathroom light it was extremely loud. The light in the bathroom was so dim you could barely see yourself in it. Kids were in and out of the fitness center and there was no staff to discourage them. Don’t think we will be staying there again.

Clean and quiet. Updated rooms. Nice breakfast. The only thing is the deadbolt on the entry door did not line up with the door jamb so we could not lock the deadbolt (but the regular lock worked fine).

Positive: The rooms were clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable! And a hot breakfast the next morning to get my day started was the icing on the cake. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Negative: In truth, I have no complaints
