La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Brunswick/Golden Isles - Hotel in Brunswick - 100 Capital Square Dr, USA

My entire experience at this hotel was fantastic. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean and spacious, and the front desk staff was kind and efficient. My stay was so good that I booked another La Quinta hotel on my drive back north— that one was not nearly as good. The only negative things I could say about it were some cracks were noted in the bathroom tile and the patch job was cheap and if left untreated, it will become unsafe and sound transfers easily through walls and doors. But neither were bad enough to deter me from this location.

This hotel is just lovely. We have stayed several times , with & without our dog. Each time the rooms were very clean & the staff was excellent . There is a plentiful full breakfast, as well.. The exterior of the property is extensive with picnic gazebos, basketball court, a nice firepit area & plenty of dog walking space! Highly recommend!

We have been staying at this La Quinta location for nearly 3 years when traveling to and from North Carolina as it is at about the halfway point from our home in Florida. The hotel was fairly new on our first stay and we liked the cleanliness and hospitality. We just returned from our latest stay and we couldn’t believe that this was the same place! The room was dirty, the furniture was scratched and water damaged and the lights next to the bed did not work. We also found a used contact lens on the floor. We tried to call down to the front desk to change rooms, but the phone did not work when pressing the “Front Desk” button, only a fast busy signal. We took our luggage and went back downstairs. The desk clerk apologized and gave us another room. This room was only marginally cleaner, the lights next to the bed again didn’t work, and the A/C system would get very cold then very warm. As we were tired from our drive, we reluctantly stayed. Then, as we were leaving for dinner, as we took the elevator down to the lobby, as the doors opened, we were accosted by 3 large, soaking wet dogs, a pitbull and two other breeds, who ran into the elevator and were not on leashes. We yelled at the dogs and the man accompanying them said “They’re okay, they are rescue dogs” and we told him to put them on a leash. We closed the elevator door but the man kept repeatedly opening it and the dogs would run in. Finally we pushed our way out and yelled at the man to leash up the dogs which he refused to do. At that point, the clerk came over and just watched the man get into the elevator with the dogs. She apologized to us and said she would try to figure out who he was. Another couple told us that the dogs had been in the hotel pool and the couple had to leave the pool as a result. This hotel does allow dogs, but dogs must be leashed and well behaved. These were not and we doubt that they registered the dogs and paid the pet fee, but just brought them in the back door. The clerk obviously did nothing as we saw the man later in the hotel. We were appalled by the entire La Quinta experience and will no longer stay at this hotel.

They called and CANCELED our room 10 minutes before arrival after driving almost 7 hours and arriving at 12am. Even though we booked a month prior and it was already PAID for. We told her that we wanted a refund and she hung up the phone after saying they had no more rooms available. We still came to the hotel to sort out the refund and it just so happened they had the same style room we booked open back up after the hotel was “sold out”. The outside of the hotel was outstanding compared to the inside. My family NEVER complains about hotels, but the pull out bed had stains on the cushions. The halls along with the lobby looked like they haven’t been vacuumed for quite sometime. The outside of the door going into the room was nothing but dirt. The beds also had black hair all over them. The corners of the shower were filthy along with mold forming on the sides of the shower there wasn’t even a point of taking a shower here just to get dirty. Overall this might be one of the worst hotels I’ve been too cleanliness wise. Location felt safe and outside of the hotel was well presented.

Horrible stay. Checking in late at 11:30 pm, and clerk was hopeless: took 30 minutes to check in. Got to room and there was a big ridge in the mattress: like sleeping on a pool noodle. Had to change rooms and 2nd bed only slightly better. They advertised an EV charger, and we inquired in advance about whether it worked. They ignored our inquiry: no response. When we got there, the EV charger did NOT work. When we checked out in the morning and advised them of our terrible time of it, we got insincere apologies. No refund offered. Terrible place. We do not recommend.

It is a nice hotel. As with most hotels, there are a few things that could be fixed. There is a locked door to get in after hours, except it is never locked. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the beds are quite comfortable, but not a fan of the pillows.

Nicest La Quinta I’ve ever stayed at, and nicest hotel in the area. Visit often for work and have stayed at multiple hotels here, this one is definitely my favorite! The lobby is large and a great place to get work done away from the room and it always smells amazing! The outdoor mini golf is a great stress reliever too after a busy day.

Propreté générale à revoir !! Les moquettes dans le couloir sont sales, l'aspirateur n'a pas été passé depuis un moment ! Dans la chambre, le ménage laisse à désirer, des tâches sur le fauteuil, plein de poussières sur la chaise de bureau (entre autre), aspirateur mal passé, des tâches sur certaines serviettes de douche et sur un oreiller. La clim dans la chambre fait des bruits bizarres sans cesse, très dérangeant la nuit. Dommage car l'hôtel est moderne et neuf, grand hall, piscine extérieure, salle de fitness. Taille des chambres et salle de bain OK, et bien équipée. Petit déjeuner simple mais correct.
