La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Broussard - Lafayette Area - Hotel in Broussard - 104 Sweetland Ave, USA

I had a great experience here before and had a great stay once again. Tucked away with some surrounding trees, it's a nice relaxing stay. Great location and very clean and well kept rooms. Only constructive feedback would be the door for the stairway may need some renovation to prevent it from slamming shut. The hotel room doors presumably have door closers that slow them down as they shut. The door for the stairs on the highest floor (4th) doesn't seem to have a door closer. Now fortunately people aren't taking the stairs into the night, but if they did, it could present a problem as it did slam very loudly whenever someone took the stairs. Lastly, the TV had this annoying display menu that would not go away and when I hit "exit," it would go away but come back within minutes. I had to simply ignore it, which was fine. Otherwise, great stay and I'd definitely stay again.

Chose this property for a night's stay while in the area and we were extremely impressed! This property is very well-maintained, is extremely clean. The front desk associate was very helpful, friendly and professional. Everything was in perfect working order and even small details such as cleverly-folded towels and a paper flower 'blossom' adorning the bath tissues make this visit exceptional! We highly-recommend this property and we'll definitely stay again when driving through the Lafayette/Broussard area.

We stayed at the beginning of July and the hotel was perfect. Rooms were clean and breakfast was awesome. All the front desk girls were phenomenal and Katrina gave our kids ice pops after we checked in. Definitely a good hotel to stay at. Price is great as well.

Our phone didn't work in the room, refrigerator was off so we had to wait for it to get cold to put our stuff in it. The outlets behind the night stand was hanging out of the wall and had NO face plates to keep things from shorting out. The BIGGEST ISSUE WE HAD WAS THE INTERNET.. 2.4G CONNECTION.. not strong enough for my laptop and kept disconnecting.. Jad to use my own mobile hot spot. WILL NOT STAY HERE AGAIN. We was in room 319 on 9/07/2024

We arrived on a Sunday shortly after 2:30pm, a relatively quiet time for the hotel. Unfortunately, my husband got stuck in the elevator for 45 minutes. He pressed the alarm, which rang loudly in the elevator cab, but he didn't get any response. There was no emergency telephone in the cab. He tried calling the hotel number on his cellphone but it kept on getting cut off. Luckily, I had gone out to the car so eventually l realized that he was stuck in the elevator. I went to reception to report this, but the older lady on reception was on her cellphone and told me to wait. ||She seemed more intent on leaving on time at the end of her shift. The right thing to do was to stay until the problem was resolved, or at least let us know that she had to leave.||||The younger lady, Caitlyn, who had just started her shift in the middle of all this, called the elevator company and offered us a complimentary stay. She handled my increasing hysterics and complaints well. She said that there was a service request for the elevator phone that hadn't been actioned yet. Good customer service by Caitlyn.||||It is a shame because the breakfast buffet was the best we had of the chains we stayed in during our 3 week road trip, and the view from the room was nice, looking onto a green field and trees, despite being close to the highway. It is unsatisfactory that a hotel doesn't have emergency elevator responses set up properly. There was a bit of confusion as to who to call about the problem, too. The housekeeping staff quickly brought out the "elevator not working" sign, so I wonder whether this is a regular occurence? The cause of the elevator malfunction was a rag (from the housekeeping trolley?) which had become wedged in the door, so clearly the housekeeping staff needs better training, too.

The campus and staff are admirable. My room was very clean and tastefully decorated. The staff was beyond friendly and helpful. I will definitely reurn.

A bit of distance from I-10 but I'm glad I drove it! The motel is pet friendly and super clean! The front desk person, Imunique, was very nice and helpful! Although, I'm not sure who's dumber, the interior designer or the person responsible for ok'ing the interior design! We've driven from Oregon to Virginia and stayed at many La Quintas and none of them have towel racks in the bathrooms! They put a stupid picture above the commode where the towel rack belongs! Now I don't know about you but to have cheap art in the bathroom instead of a place to hang towels & wash clothes is dumb!

Un hôtel classique, dans les standards américains : grande chambre équipée d'un frigidaire et micro-ondes. Salle de bains spacieuse. Literie confortable. Personnel à l'accueil charmant : nous avions un pb de clim dans la chambre, la personne est venue dans la chambre régler le problème. Seul petit bémol, le petit déjeuner est vraiment très succint.
