La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Atlanta Roswell - Hotel in Roswell - 575 Old Holcomb Bridge Rd, USA

If I could leave a 0 star review, I would. I reserved a 2 bed room for 4 people 2 days in advance. When I got to the lobby, the person in charge told me they only had single rooms available cause “they had walk ins all day”. Went to the room to find out there was only a twin bed in that room. The room smelled disgusting by the way. I decided to leave but I couldn’t get a refund through them cause I reserved through booking. Booking try to reached them out next day with no luck. 2 weeks after I still haven’t received no refund. STAY AWAY from this hotel, you’ll regret.

I'm not one to post reviews, but wanted to save others from the experience we had. The minute you walk in the lobby you are met with an overwhelming mold/mildew smell and the rooms are much worse. Our toilet broke (they did have someone come fix it which was nice) and our hair dryer kept shorting out. There was also a huge stain on both of our sheets that was clearly not from us. Staff was friendly and they were excellent with bringing towels but it wasn't sanitary and the smell made me sick. We did buy our own bottle of Febreeze down the road which made it more bearable. Would not stay here again.

Don’t be fooled zero stars would be more accurate. The entire hotel smells musky… very bad. There is literally a dead cockroach in the bathtub. The whole place looks run down. The elevator is risky and unsettling. AVOID THIS HOTEL UNLESS YOURE BROKEEEEE lastly I found the toilet paper roll looking like it got wet and dried!!! As soon as we entered the 1st room, we were met with a pungent smoking smell even though we requested a non-smoking room. We were also met with 2 cockroaches in the microwave. They did give us another room immediately. However, only 1 light was working in that room and the phone was not working. Even though we asked them to be reply there was no action taken. Breakfast was bare minimum with very minimal options. Boiled eggs didn't taste good! Though we stayed for two days we only bothered about breakfast only on the 1st day. We have stayed at La Quinta Inns at other locations and had good experiences but this one was horrible.

See the picture need I say more? Roaches, cigarette burns on the sheets, hairs on the sheets. Glad there weren’t any bed bugs. We ditched this place after the first night. Thankfully there wasn’t an issue. Supposedly supposed to get a 2 of 4 day refund. Oh and the waffle maker was basically broken, no timer just beeping constantly and there wasn’t much selection other than that. Some cereal and small muffins. Moved to the Best Western down the road and it was 200%+ better.

Got to hotel and it was dirty on the outside and worst on inside. Smelled everywhere and carpets were filthy!! Did not even go to the rooms !! The picture they have online must be from another hotel or when this one was actually being cleaned and taken care of. No food in snack stand and pool is not only close but has stuff piled in it!! I think all they do is take peoples money until the place falls down. Besides roaches they probably have bed bugs since they don’t clean!! Dodge that bullet!! No one cleans or repairs anything in the place from what I saw!! Went to another hotel 100% better!! Please don’t waste your time or money at this place!!

I looked at some of the recent reviews of this hotel as I was starting to write mine. I think those other reviewers must have stayed somewhere else. This place is no palace, but it was clean, quiet and comfortable, very close to major highways, with easy access to everything; plenty of parking. The desk clerk was capable, not that I made any demands of him. The elevator works fine, the TV was easy to use (that used to be a given but no more), breakfast was ... well, I never eat those "free" -- meaning pre-paid -- hotel breakfasts, especially when there's an excellent restaurant just across the road. And the room rates here are quite reasonable until you add the local taxes....

The room was worn but comfortable. The TV worked perfectly but the preview guide is spread out amongst several different channels The free breakfast was very sparse at best and the coffee had a lot of grounds in it each day.
