La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Angleton - Hotel in Angleton - 2400 W Mulberry St, USA

Stayed here this past weekend and was very pleased with the night front desk lady we showed up at 2am in need of a room after our hotel “couldn’t find our reservation” and after a 5 hour drive we were tired I didn’t get her name but this was 6/8 at 2 am so who ever was working that shift was the sweetest lady she made sure my family and I were WELL TAKEN CARE OF I travel that way twice a year and this will definitely be my go to hotel from now on! Buc-ees is right next to the hotel and their breakfast was good as well. Over all we had a great time and I can honestly say the nights sleep was great!

The hotel is located in angleton off hwy 35. Bucees is right there in walking distance. Very clean and remodeled hotel and I slept like a baby there. Would definitely go back there again in a heart beat. Didn’t get the breakfast as I was in a rush to leave the next am

Great hotel. Great stay. Friendly, helpful staff. Super-clean and very well-maintained. 20mins from Surfside Beach. 45mins from Downtown. 45mins from Kemah Boardwalk (had to work the Bullet into my trip). And a couple miles from all Angleton restaurants and stores (hello, Whataburger). Left happy with my stay.

I would like to start off by saying I'm a Diamond Club member at Wyndham. Out of all the La Quinta Inns and Wyndham Hotels this is a Hidden Gem. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is one to remember. They truly make you feel like family special shout out to Robin and Angela for making my time here a pleasant experience, I would recommend this hotel to anyone thank you for all you do

Nice place, super friendly staff! Would stay again. Jacky the manager, was so amazing and helpful, first class customer service!! Robin was also friendly and helpful!

I would come back for the breakfast. The eggs were perfect, bacon and sausage were cooked perfectly and a good quality. The biscuits were great. Everything was laid out well. It was fresh and clean, and the breakfast chef was attentive! Really ! I would come back for the breakfast! ||||The facility improvements are top notch. I have stayed at this place a few times over the last decade, and the improvements really make this facility feel like a higher quality place.

Great place to stay, breakfast is ready good. I love that nobody knocks on the door asking if you're staying or leaving.

The good: this property will soon have up to date theming of the La Quinta brand and will be nice.||Check in staff - friendly and offered a cookie. Nice touch.||The terrible:||Due to the remodel in progress there is unfortunate crowding and limited breakfast space. This led to a complete failure of hospitality during my stay. ||I was sitting and enjoying my coffee, not yet ready to make my breakfast plate. ||I heard a woman ( a Karen, I first thought, speaking about me in hushed tones to a staff member ) The staff member then came and politely, but again, in a failure of hospitality, asked me to vacate the table in favor of someone else. ||I felt completely unwelcomed and decided I would make my plate and take it to my room. As I was making my plate, the woman I previously heard speaking to the staff member approached me and said “ I see you finally decided to eat breakfast. " I was dumbfounded and stared at her in disbelief. She then asked me if I would like her to set my coffee back at the table, which I declined. Only at this point did I realize this woman who had directed staff to disinvite me from the table was a non uniformed manager, not a guest.||I keep hoping in vain that one day Wyndham will live up to it's pledges of service, particularly towards it's Diamond Rewards members.||I will avoid this hotel when I visit family in Angleton again. ||
