La Quinta by Wyndham Lafayette Oil Center - Hotel in Lafayette - 1321 W Pinhook Rd, USA

I stayed here for a few nights in Lafayette, LA; it was a great experience. The room was clean, the bed was comfy, and the bathroom was stocked with what I needed during my stay. The check-in process was fast and sufficient, and I got to my room in less than ten minutes. The hotel was within driving distance of all the shopping areas and coffee shops. The hotel is pet-friendly. It was a good stay, and I have no complaints.

Very good location, restaurants around I stayed for a week. The room was very large, it had a clean king bed, it smelled good, the air conditioning didn't make any noise, although the pool was closed, but hey, it's not the hot season, you understand, the breakfast is the same as every day, very basic but delicious, the area was very clean. food only the very rude receptionist is a white woman I forgot her name it seems like she doesn't feel like working or she is racist towards Hispanic people that's why I loved my stay at this hotel

Overall, a great hotel. Price was decent, location was great (near University, lots of restaurants and a park within walking distance). Traffic noise was a bit loud, but got quieter as it got later. We just turned on the Fan overnight and we both slept ok. If you're used to the silence of a country house, you might find it too loud for you.

Beautiful hotel with welcoming lobby. Friendly front desk clerk. Clean comfortable room. Breakfast area very clean and well stocked. Well lit outside and we felt safe. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location, excellent nearby restaurants. Exceptionally clean and well presenting facility and room. Great service staff - and did I mention free breakfast. This will be our 'go to' location when we return to Lafayette for (more) festivals and events. Located near historical old downtown where most events take place and the better restaurants. Tried an Airbnb in Lafayette - way too much overhead and much lesser value.

We stayed here for a wedding in the area. We requested early check-in but they could not guarantee it. ||They actually called us to let us know the rooms were available. That was very nice to let us know. The hotel was clean and looked well maintained. Breakfast was good, with an assortment of offerings. I would stay here again.

My wife and I typically travel with our two, small, well-trained-and-housebroken dogs. This hotel's pet policy - available under "Hotel Policies" on their reservation page - reads "Pets allowed - 2 pets max. Cats and dogs only. 75lbs. or less per pet/ Fees - Non refundable 25 USD nightly for up to 2 pets. Max 75 USD per stay. To me, this means $25 a night, additional, for our two pets (we stayed one night). Imagine my surprise when, at check-in, the hotel charged $50 for our two pets for the one night. I would've walked-out but for the fact it was too late in the day to cancel our reservation without being charged for the night. Needless to say, their pet policy is misleading at best, fraudulent at worst. The room was nothing to be excited about, either. No draperies (just a roller shade), stained carpet, and damaged lampshades. The floor apparently sags, so they propped-up the front of the chest-of-drawers with two blocks of wood. Long gone are the days when La Quinta properties were uniformly nice, predictable, and welcoming.

I do NOT recommend staying here. The beds are VERY HIGH, about 4 feet 1 ft platform & mattress & bowstring 18" each. If you have short legs or are under 6 feet you will pretty much need a ladder or have to climb into bed. I rated based on NO bed option & slick floor. The staff were nice, hotel clean, but too far from I10.
