DELICIOUS Sopes. I had the chile verde sope and al Pastor sope. Both delicious. My husband had the Parrilla carne asada bowl 🥣 and loved it. Fair prices, good food. Salsa bar and Jarritos available. Service was good.
Service is mediocre. Clean environment for the most part. Free chips and a variety of salsas to choose from the salsa bar which is highly appreciated. Lots of items on the menu so I went ahead and ordered the barbacoa fries because in pictures everything looks good though when I got it, oh lord… You can clearly see in the picture how disgusting my food looks when I got home. My fries were beyond soggy and inedible. The toppings were not good at all and the beans were watery. What’s worse, this was $15 after everything. I took one bite and I was just done.
First time trying La Parrilla and it was delicious! I had the Al pastor, carnitas, and barbacoa soft tacos. Their meats are so flavorful and juicy. Can’t wait to try more. We also got the barbacoa torta which came with a dipping broth (I think their version of birria). The quesadilla was also huge and tasty. Free chips and salsa. Very fresh; could’ve eaten a gallon of it. Will be back and recommend trying it if you haven’t yet!
I had the Parilla burrito bowl with carne asada, wife had 2 sopes. They were both delicious. The 2 sopes Chile Verde sopes were filling by themselves. The salsas at the salsa bar are tasty. If they have the Watermelon Habanero salsa it's a must try!
Mmm this place is actually pretty 😊 bomb! Expensive but it is Pismo/grover beach area. Portions were better than most around here. Free chip bar help yourself! Love that. Food was fulfilling. Not like a plate in LA or the Bay area. But it will do.
The food was fabulous! We have been here several times...The food was out quickly and accurately. The music was authentic, but maybe a little too loud. Parking is easy... Right on the street or in the parking lot.
Our family has been coming here the last few months now, and we have enjoyed this restaurant. The food is great and the staff are very kind. However, today one of our shrimp bowls lacked beans, vegetables, and cheese (second photo). Compared to the pork bowl (first photo), you can tell there is a difference in portioning which is upsetting. We want the management read this review and make sure that the portion size for their food is consistent in the future.
Best Mexican food in town. Love grabbing a beer and some chips while I wait. Full salsa bar free of charge. Good music, great service, and I can never finish my beer before my order is delivered to my table. A table outside, on a nice patio, right on grand ave. With music and heaters and all.
