La Norteña - Restaurant in Biloxi - 224 Porter Ave, USA

The food was great! Authentic as you can get in Biloxi. The service took longer than expected but the food kind of makes up for that. The restaurant is half restaurant half convenience store. The entire place has some age on it and could use renovation. Again, the food was pretty good.

love the prices and quality of the food here. the place is simple. service is fast. i love the size of the kids meal portions for fajita and quesadilla (i can't eat alot in one sitting). they offer military discount. horchata and jamaica are great. attached to a decent hispanic market. only negative is sometimes the music can be quite aggressive/loud in this small space.

I came with a friend to try this place. It was the very best Mexican food I have ever had. I would 100% would recommend you come here and try the amazing food.

Hm... The picture I post with this review is "huevos rancheros"... yeah right. Beans and rice tasted weird and the rice was dry. The only saving grace was my husband's small tacos he had. I wouldn't really recommend this restaurant. There are better places that offer better and larger portions for the price we paid. :(

First of all this, place is in desperate need of someone who speaks English unless they’re doing that on purpose. Went there because a friend said best tacos anywhere but I ordered the fajitas. Big mistake. Totally uninspired and bland.They do, however, sell chicharrones (cracklings) which I’ve been looking everywhere for but they were undercooked. The fat wasn’t crispy like it should be but I took them home, cut them up, and cooked them half hour in the oven and they turned out great.

Cannot recommend this place enough. Absolutely awesome authentic Mexican food. The chimichanga and enchilada are amazing.

I will no longer be eating at this establishment because there was a cooked termite in my food . I let them know & they would not issue a refund. I’m not even upset about the refund honestly , just more disgusted & feel sick more than anything ! Eat at your own risk

I would post photos but I keep eating everything before I review. This is just my second time here. But I've had five different types of tacos and really enjoyed them all. I'm a bit of a taco junkie so I haven't eaten anything else yet. But their tacos are excellent as are the sauces that you get with them. Everything is priced as individual items. 3 or 4 tacos should be plenty for anyone. The first visit with a 16.9oz bottle of coke cost me just under 10 bucks. And I wasn't hungry afterwards. This time I had 4 and I am definitely full. I think the tacos run about 2.25 or 2.50 each. The restaurant itself is attached to a store and only has about 8 or 9 tables. But it's definitely a nice place to sit, have a meal and a drink.
