I ordered online. My food was ready before the pickup time, the prices were great (not sure why they sold the birria tacos individually with consume though), and the food looked beautiful. It sucks that all of the food was bland (chicken flautas, birria pizza, birria taco, and even the salsa).
Service very good, half our grouped loved their food choices and huge 🍹 margaritas, but half our group not too impressed by the enchiladas...were dry hamburger and not seasoned enough not spicy enoug...entrees look beautiful
Enjoyed a meal at La Morenita only to find that they charged gratuity on our party of 3. We mentioned this to the waiter and manager. We were told "sorry the computer adds it" and there was nothing they could do. I've been in this area 17 years and never encountered this. Very disappointed and will not go back. Check your receipts. I can get better tacos and margaritas elsewhere.

I mean from entering we were greeted with smiling faces and positive energy, we were seated and someone came to the table immediately to take drink orders. My classic margarita was amazing and I was a lil 🤪 when I left but thank GOD I wasn’t driving! I’m j/k but it was yummy and I ordered the fajitas and oh em gee! It was huuuuge, no way can 1 person eat this much… I definitely have food for today. They made sure we were taken care of the entire time, very attentive and they asked if they food was to our liking and it was!!! I will recommend this place to anyone and I loved the decor!
First time trying this spot. I LOVED all the photos, murals and tribute to Mexican culture. Food was amazing, all of it. I will definitely cone back next time I am in town. 5 estrellas. Saludos!
We had a great experience here! The food was delicious, the drinks were great, and everything is reasonably priced. Highly recommend checking out their happy hour, which is everyday from 2-6pm. The small margaritas were $1.99!
This is one of the best places to get Mexican food in Auburn. I got Sopes and my wife had the Pollo Loco dish and Morentia fries and everything was great. They have a large outdoor seating area. My server was patient and helpful as well.
La Morenita Taqueria is a gem. I've always loved Mexican food, but this place has painted me into a corner. The food is simply amazing. the family that runs it is always happy to see people enjoying themselves. the restaurant is clean, and the location is perfect. they have a bar with salsas, limes, salad, and hot sauces. and if they don't have the best horchata I've ever had then don't wake me up. I love this place, dearly.
