Steak Fajitas are second to none. Sizzling when they come to the table. Delicious 😋 and order enough to make sure I have leftovers. I drive from Dallas to eat here.
The food just was not good. We used to like it a lot. Service was barely ok. My fish tacos tasted like old, overcooked fish sticks were thrown in a tortilla. Nothing else on it. Terrible.

La Mesa is one of my favorite places to eat! My 2 favorite things to get there is their queso & their Enchiladas! I can NEVER get enough of it! Their staff is also very friendly & welcoming as well.
We were in the area and I decided to give La Mesa a try. Little Flip Out requested queso and he enjoyed it. For lunch I decided to go with La Grande to make it easier to share with the boys. The cheese enchiladas with chili con carne had a different flavor and was good. I enjoyed the tamales with Queso and the boys loved the tacos. Little Flip Out surprised me and went with cheese nachos it had a lot of cheese baked on for him. Our waitress brought out for Littlest Flip Out a plate of rice and beans that he loved having his on plate for eating. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
Service was good, food was what I can only describe as sweaty, yet inexplicably dry- and possibly microwaved. Stopped in because the sign said something along the lines of "best in Texoma." I'm pretty sure this claim is inaccurate, though it might depend on who you ask. I would say something more like"it can't be the worst in Texoma," personally. Food seemed underseasoned and precooked rather than fresh (I ordered fajitas). Vegetables in fajitas were cut in all kinds of bizarre shapes and sizes. Some of the bell peppers were massive and difficult to eat as no knives were provided to the table. Tortilla chips seemed as if they came cold out of a bag.
