Saturday dinner was a great experience in La Marsa. Food and ambience reflects middle eastern culture. Each dish tastes unique. Portions are huge. Kitchen closes by 9pm

The food was good, but the packaging for takeout leaves a lot to be desired. Ordered a whole debone chicken in lemon oregano with rice and french fries and they put the french fries in with the chicken and rice which soaked up all the lemon oregano sauce. Kids would not eat the french fries, and they were all very soggy because of the sauce. We order from here at least three times a month and have never had this issue? Food is fantastic. Not sure what is happening in the kitchen?

The quality of food and its flavors are second to none! By far one of my favorites in Michigan. Whether you’re dining in or ordering a carryout, it’s always to perfection!

I just had to come on here and leave a review. I’m truly blown away with how good my food tasted. The vegetarian grape leaves taste homemade and everything was so fresh. I decided to try La Marsa on a whim and I’m really glad I did, can’t wait to come back!

La Marsa cuisine is one of the best Mediterranean / Egyptian cuisines in Michigan! 🤩 I have been eating at La Marsa branches for more than 7 years, and this location is always my best one! The place is very nice, cozy and gives you a warm feeling like you are eating in the middle east. I didn't visit this location for a long time, then decided to go back again for dinner with my family. The place has never changed! As always clean and cozy and the staff is very nice and welcoming. Their signature freshly baked pita bread smells so good and makes you feel hungry with the garlic spread it's a very delicious mix for an appetizer and it is free with all the orders, you can get a refill for the fresh bread, and the garlic all the time. And the menu has many variations to be suitable for everyone. We ordered dinner for 4 people, we ordered: 1-Shawarma combo (mix of beef and chicken Shawarma) is served with two sides of your choice from these sides options: (rice or fries) and ( soup or salad or grilled vegetables ), we ordered it with fries and salad. 2-And Shish Kafta chicken with rice and grilled vegetables. 3- Beef Shawarma sandwich, Chicken shawarma sandwich 4-Children meal: chicken nuggets with fries, and crushed lentil soup. All the dishes are served fresh and perfectly cooked. 😋 The amount of the food is extra for each meal to be served to one person so you always need to share some of your plates with your family or ask for the leftovers box for free. We love that place and it’s always our favorite place for any special occasions. 🤩

This place is very clean. I eat there very often. Tried several things on the menu, and settled on lamb shish kabob, which, to my taste, is excellent. It is also liked by everybody I invite to eat there. I prefer to order this item with the salad and chicken vegetable soup. Bread and garlic is also something I enjoy very much. Service is great and very friendly in general and La Marsa (Drake location) is the only place I really enjoy to visit when I'm in the mood (or have need) to eat out.

I was shocked by the prices of this establishment!! I don’t mind paying more for food if it’s worth it!! Chicken Gallaba was good but very oily. Price was $17 definitely on the higher side for the quality of food they serve. Beef shawarma plate was $27!!!!!! I had better shawarma plate for $12 in the same area. Beef shawarma was ok and price was ok as well. Please go to another Mediterranean or Lebanese cuisine and save some$$$

This is my first review. This use to be one of my favorite Resturants. Not anymore. My husband ordered the take out there and brought it home. We live within 2 miles. The food was cold, the bread rubbery and flavor non existent. I was totally disappointed. This will be the last time I order. I felt I got someone else Oder that never got picked up.
