Came here for our wedding (elopement) dinner. Researched many other restaurants in the area prior to making a reservation here and couldn’t have been happier with the outcome. They had us seated in the back corner where it was more private and intimate. They even brought us a complementary appetizer which was amazing. The wagyu tartar was awesome and so was the mushroom risotto.
Mark (I believe was his name) helped us reserve the table months in advance and even helped when we called a few weeks prior to make sure we were still good.
Thanks again for capping off a memorable day.
This place was really good. The French onion soup was a bit too salty but everything else was good. I had bone marrow, oysters, French onion soup, steak, and little cookie butter ice cream sandwiches! It is $95 for a 3 course meal plus any drinks and apps. Worth it! Make reservations is a small place.
We loved our experience at La Marmotte! We were there for our honeymoon and the food was fantastic and our server was wonderful! Highly recommend the bone marrow!
I took 10 of my friends to this restaurant on January 2. I have been to this restaurant before. I have been a resident of Telluride for 26 years. We ordered oysters as an appetizer and only four people ate the oysters. Out of the four people who ate the oysters - we all got oyster poisoning. Two of us ended up in the emergency room, and the other two of us were sick for two days straight not being able to keep anything down. When I went to go talk to the manager about it, he told me that he would research into it and that was it. He would not help me further and told me to leave the restaurant - he walked me to the door. We spent over $2000 at night that dinner And this was the hospitality we received back from management. On top of all of this, I left a bag that was given to me as a birthday gift worth $300 and I called the same night to make sure they kept the bag. But since I was in the emergency room, I was unable to get it the next day. Someone took it After the fact I called management to save the bag for me. I would not recommend going to this restaurant, especially with their seafood and level of service. If you want overprice trash French food and If you want to vomit and purge you should go.
The first waiter was actually just pretty bad but the bartender saved it with the service. Rustic space but they pull it off and the feel is quite nice. The steak tartar was impeccable. Both the Idaho Wagyu steak and beef bourguignon were actually cooked and seasoned well. The vegetables with steak could’ve been better and the onion soup just needed something more flavor but overall was satisfying dinner and worth the price.
The only star is for the environment. Cause their food SUCKS!
The salad is extremely sour. And I can’t believe the scallops are stink! I wish you can eat it in front of me and told me it’s not stink, cause I offered when I mentioned but nobody tried it. I guess you can’t get some fresh seafood. The pork belly is incredible greasy and sweet. I ate pork belly multiple times in other places and a lot of them can cook it pretty well. But this place definitely did the worst job. The duck is super salty.
Okay, now come to the dessert, welcome to the sweetness hell! I don’t understand who will add chocolate to creme brulee. I’m not talking about normal sweet, I’m talking about extreme sweet to a point you can’t eat any single bite. I literally can’t finish this my favorite dessert and just want to throw up after this meal!
Of course you should take that entree off my bill, cause it’s literally inedible and I’m sure I will got sick if I finish it.
Food was absolutely delicious and worth the price, which was very reasonable in my opinion! The Riz et Pois was simply phenomenal. Great atmosphere, great service. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Telluride who loves good food.
Wow!! We were blown away by our dinner at La Marmotte. The restaurant was so welcoming and well designed. It felt so cozy. The service was also exceptional and made us so excited about our dining experience. The food and drinks were beyond compare. I really enjoyed the Bees Knees cocktail. The bone marrow appetizer and French onion soup was fantastic as was the trout. The Wagyu ribeye, however, was beyond amazing!! Words can’t describe the taste combination. We enjoyed the 3 course meal which gave so many options. We can’t wait to go back the next time we are in Telluride!
The best coffee in the Telluride area. I drive down to Lawson to switch up my lunch break a few times a week. Damon is the best barista and I enjoy talking to him while he concocts something delicious. Delicious coffee and pretty great prices!
Beautiful area with an awesome ghost town, great hiking trails, camping, beautiful lakes, and great views. The road up is an easier 4x4 trail. Our Jeep Grand Cherokee had no problems getting there. It's a great area to spend some time and there were
A great place to learn about the history of Telluride. Great displays and very old items from the 1800's and before. Listening stations and videos keep you interested. The lady at the desk was very friendly and knowledgeable. The museum is small but
Well the staff are the best around. They always have a warm greeting and treat you like the part of the family they really like if you know what I mean.
Everything was fantastic! Tess and Annette were super sweet as they greeted me at the door and took me to my seat. I sat at the bar and both Michael and Tabitha were super attentive and knowledgeable as well as warm and welcoming. I had the Solera Ol
This was a delightful experience. The guys at the front desk were really helpful. We went in the off season so there wasnât alot of people. Since it was the off-season he waived the parking fee. In my opinion it was worth the money. We stayed a few
It was heartwarming to have a delicious bowl of ramen after a cold and tiring day on the slope!
The brisket in the hill country ramen was top notch, although the broth itself could have bolder flavor for my taste.
The service was super friendly and
LOVED IT!! Patio seating only, the birds are cool company & will finish what you don't.
Spinach Roll was absolutely delicious!!
Shepards Salad was good but I felt a little too much mustard in the dressing & it almost took away from it.
Hummus was goo
Lovely restaurant experience in a cozy space with super friendly and attentive staff. Food was very thoughtfully crafted, well presented, tasty and high quality. We loved that they have a separate vegetarian menu (with a whole vegan section).

One of the many awesome spots to grab a meal in telluride! We made a reservation day of for a party of 4. Service was quick and beer flights were delicious.
Tons of variety on the menu. Our appetizers were probably the highlight. We tried the mushro
