La Herradura Mexican grill - Mexican restaurant in Beatrice - 590 Sargent St, USA

We don't get to Beatrice often and decided to give this place a try. We were seated and the staff was very attentive. No wait for drinks and they answered the questions we had. I ordered the lunch portion of the steak fajitas and my husband ordered one of the burritos. Speaking for myself the portion was perfect, I don't have much of an appetite (it was about 1/2 of the portion that you'd get anywhere else). His burrito on the other hand was pitifully small, it was not off of the smaller portion lunch menu and would have needed to be b 2-3x more to be a dinner portion for anyone with a normal appetite. We tried their salsa and their unusual bean dip, ordered a side of poblano sauce and a side of queso. It's sad to say the queso was the most flavorful part of the meal. There was little to no seasoning on anything. I'm not talking Spice, in talking basic salt/pepper/etc. This is one of those places that we are glad we gave it a try, but we likely won't return. That being said, this is our opinion, the patronage increased as we were there. So I'm sure some others love them. It just wasn't for us.

This is our favorite restaurant in Beatrice. The food is always delicious, the service is exceptional, and the atmosphere is classy. It's very clean in there too! We eat there every month or two, and we've never been disappointed.

Service is wonderful,vibe and atmosphere is on another level. It's a place where you can get some good food and enjoy some great company in a clean and wonderful environment. I highly recommend you stop by and check it out. Loraine is a wonderful server and really gave us a great experience with her upbeat and down to earth personality.

Must stop if you’re enter in Beatrice! Great service and food. And the margaritas…woo hoo! Gotta have one!

It's probably completely fine for the area. I would not encourage you to order a margarita. That was an odd concoction that tasted of sprite. The beer was a better choice, but dressed with salt and lime is different than I'd expect-- no lime around the rim or in the glass. The molcajete was adequate.

Let me first start with we used to love it here! It has changed drastically lately. The meat in the tacos and enchiladas tastes like it was mixed with meal...not taste, just mushy and will stick together. The taco was soggy from sitting in the enchilada sauce by the time it arrived (which was quickly) and the rice had absolutely no taste. The chips and salsa were good and the service was too. Probably won't recommend until I hear they have changed their food back to the way it was..

Food is usually good. However, hours are posted until 9:30. Went at 8:55, open sign was on and was told they wouldn't serve us cuz they had shut down the grill
