In Tuscaloosa visiting, my first time going to this restaurant. The unplanned, but needed Girls Night was great. Sylvester was the best! The food and drinks was good The only thing I didn't like was the 3.5 % transaction fee for me using my credit card.

Place a to go order on today which normally would be taco night. Well not only did I pay full price for my tacos I ordered a total of 6 tacos. Not only when I got there my food was cold. Like it been sitting there a while. The lady also forgot my sweet tea which I had to later return to get but that still didn't change the fact that my tacos was cold and my hard shell was softer than a soft taco

I came by across town to get something to eat. Got there at 9:00 and was told they were closed. The sign says you close at 9:30 on Thursday's. That's the best way to loss business. I'm really disappointed with the service and how they wouldn't take my order. The sad part about it I was actually in the restaurant!!!!!!!. I'm an Area Director for a restaurant in town and this is clearly not the way to conduct business. No manager was in sight for me to speak with. So now I'm driving back across town to find something to eat....smh

First time at the bar and will be my last. All I can say is a disrespectful bartender, Me and my friend is not coming back here ever. ADVICE: Just go to Los Tarascos they will respect and listen to you better.

My wife and I venture this place for there traditional tacos. It used to be fajitas for two. But now we just go for the tacos and top it off with a CaliforniaRita. So heres to you Alabama, go getya some!!!

An average review for an average restaurant. Tuscaloosa is known for football and barbecue. It should also be known that Tuscaloosa is overflowing with average Mexican restaurants. La Gran Fiesta is no different. If you are in south Tuscaloosa and are in the mood for Mexican you will be satisfied by this restaurant but you will not be wowed. I long for a Mexican restaurant in Tuscaloosa to wow me with service, atmosphere, and cuisine. Until this happens you can pick almost any Mexican restaurant in this town and have almost identical experiences with food and service.

I live close to this restaurant so I decided to give it a try for my first time. I ordered for my fiance and myself for a Friday supper date after a long day at work. So I get home and me and my girl start eating. The chimichanga and burrito plate wasn't bad at all. After we both had a few bites of our supper we went for our chips and cheese dip. So far everything was decent until my fiance spotted a roach in the chip bag while I was holding it. I automatically squeezed the bag shut and got my phone to take a picture. When I called the restaurant and the hostess told me to send her the pictures and he would call me asap. So the next day, today, I messaged her phone asking if there was a reason he never returned my call? So he calls me about 30 minutes later. He says they spray 2 times a month but couldn't give me their name. I didn't call for a free meal, I called for principal. His words was extremely few without remorse and assured me that they don't have any bugs . So when I asked why they spray twice a month for bugs they don't have his reply was " have a good day " and hung up. I do not know this managers name nor is it important. He's rude and without any remorse so 5/20/22 is the first time I've ever left a bad review. Look at the pictures and reviews before you eat here. My next call will be to the health department. It's not about the meal , how I was talked to as a customer is disturbing. I have two houses and never had any problems with roaches before. I will definitely not be going back to La Gran Fiesta!!
