La Gala - Event venue in Bowling Green - 601 State St, USA

The La Gala is a gorgeous venue with amazing staff and owners! All the planning for my son’s bday party with smooth because of the amazing Crew at the La Gala! The food was a 10/10 highly recommended it.

The venue is nice and the staff is great. Laurie is great to work with and if a client needs to add a PhotoBooth to the party, she usually recommends my services. Keep up the good work guys

My now-husband and I got married at La Gala in October 2022 and choosing this venue was the best decision we made for our wedding. We worked with Laurie and Blake during the planning stages, and they covered every single base for us. In an effort to ensure I cover everything in this review, I've broken it into sections: food, setup, pricing, day-of, rehearsal dinner. Food: Laurie and Blake, nd the head chef Jake, helped us build a custom menu based on what we love instead of using the menu options provided in their all-inclusive package. I have no doubt that the menu options provided in the package are incredible because our wedding buffet was phenomenal! We did biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, doughnuts, and fresh fruit for our wedding meal. We heard so many comments from our guests about how wonderful the food was and how unique the menu was. We got engaged over breakfast in 2020 and wanted that part of our story together reflected in our wedding day. Needless to say, Laurie, Blake and the La Gala crew get a 10/10 on the food front. Setup: Because we opted into the All-Inclusive package, our day included setup and take down by the La Gala staff. When we arrived on Friday evening for our rehearsal dinner, the ballroom was already mostly staged for our wedding the next day and it made me extremely emotional. It was so perfect. Laurie had spent a lot of time hearing our vision from us an executed it so perfectly. We opted for all black tablecloths and napkins, as well as the chiavali chairs with the black cushions. The room was so breathtakingly beautiful! We also provided some of our own items for the wedding, including framed photos of family members, a phone/voicemail guestbook, our own arched backdrop and signage. When I returned to La Gala the day after our wedding to retrieve our items, I was so relieved to find all of our items packed neatly an safely into boxes and totes. All of our belongings were obviously treated with intense care, even *after* our event which meant a lot to us. Pricing: This is a big one because as we all know, your wedding venue is one of the largest expenses in a wedding. While La Gala DID cost more than similar venues in Bowling Green, when we sat down and priced out what all was included, it was a no brainer. Considering our all-inclusive package included setup, take down, 1 server, 1 bartender, all the tables, chairs, tablecloths, napkins and eating utensils, and of course, FOOD, we compared this to other venues where we would pay a much lower price for *only* the venue. Once we added a different venue base price + utensil/tablecloth/napkin rentals + table and chair rental + bartenders + servers + setup and take down costs, La Gala was a no brainer for us. We were very adamant that we did not want any of our friends or family doing any setup or take down on our wedding weekend, and once again, Laurie and Blake made this come true for us. Overwhelmingly, I am so grateful we found La Gala and opted for the all-inclusive package, because in the end it meant our basics (tables, chairs, utensils) PLUS food were all in the same place and was much less of a coordination headache on our end. Day of: I'm almost struggling to write this part of my review because I get overwhelmed at how grateful I am for how perfect our day was. Upon arrival to the venue on Saturday morning, we found the getting ready suites stocked with everything we asked for, including supplies for mimosas and coffee. As the vendors began arriving and finishing setup, it was becoming clear that Laurie and Blake had planned everything down to the very last details. By the time the florist arrived, each table had it's centerpiece in place and ready for flowers. Each table was set and looked perfect, each tablecloth was perfectly steamed and wrinkle-free. Overall, I am eternally grateful we found Laurie, Blake and La Gala to host our wedding. I feel they went above and beyond for us and made everything perfect and memorable. If I could do it again, I would choose La Gala every time.

I cant say enough good things about Laurie and her team at La Gala. From the time we started to discuss using La Gala as our wedding venue until the big day, the service was great. Laurie was quick to respond to any questions and always on top of things leading up to our wedding day. We also used the in house catering and bar, which was great. My husbands family is from New Orleans and the bar was able to keep up with them. ;) The team also allowed us to add some of our own personal touches, but also very helpful with decorative areas that we didn’t want to handle personally. 10/10 for this review!

We rented the show room for our wedding, and it was amazing!!! Everything was perfect. They made sure that up to the day we had everything we needed, they allowed us to have a very laid back wedding and made sure we knew every detail. Can not say enough great things about this place. Totally worth the money and memories we got to make there.

I reached out to this venue in hopes to rent out the space for my sorority’s formal. They instantly messaged me back and had quick communication throughout the entire process. Laurie explained everything to me that the venue has to offer, and gave me a list of their vendors which made the process so much easier. Not only was the event affordable, but it was absolutely beautiful! I was blown away by how amazing the vendors were and how great the catered food was. Not to mention the security gave me their information for future events. I even had the venue rental for the entire day, so I was able to set up earlier that day. Overall, I am very pleased with the service La Gala offered! My chapter will definitely utilize La Gala for future events!

La Gala is the perfect venue to host any event! With their different spaces available, there is a space for any type of event. The management is outstanding to work with and very professional. An added plus is that parking is never an issue with the parking garage in a short walking distance. I helped coordinate a non profit fundraiser at La Gala and I have nothing but wonderful things to say about the venue and family who owns it.

The venue is very spacious, nice, and elegant. The staff were very respectful and proactive. Blake went above and beyond to ensure we had a successful event. Thank you to the La Gala staff!
