La Fontana Motel - Motel in Seaside Heights - 135 Grant Ave, USA

It was my family and my last day down in seaside after staying at another hotel. We were enjoying our day at the beach and wanted to stay one more day but were on limited cash. So on my phone I booked la Fontana. What I can really say is you get what you pay for. It is right next to a soup kitchen and my boyfriend saw a strung out man wondering the bottom floor. We requested a first floor room but the man seemed really hesitant about giving us the last room in that area and I guess that’s why so we chose the 3rd floor room. At first glance I knew it was going to be the worst place I’ve ever stayed and I wanted to just leave but I know it would be a struggle to get a refund. There was no lamp shade, the old rug was dirty, the tv didn’t work, there was a ripped up wicker chair in front of the tv and to my surprise the bathroom wasn’t bad. They could have changed the shower curtain and mirror over the sink but surprisingly not bad. My boyfriend expressed his concerns and 2 of the staff did come up and fix the tv after working on it for about an hour. They also came up and vacuumed, gave us the garbage cans we requested and changed the comforters for us. So they made effort and tried. All the smoke detectors in the room were broken and covered and the worker said it was because smokers didn’t like them. There was an ac unit but didn’t work the greatest. The lamp in the room was so dim it kept the room dark once it was dark out but it was quiet through the night and we got an ok nights sleep. All in all I will just go home next time I’m low on cash. Update: upon our last lookover of the room befor checking out there was a roach crawling on our bed (pictured) if I would have seen that sooner, I definitely wouldn’t have slept as well as I did.

Do not stay here! this was the absolute worst place I've ever been. Super sketchy and absolutely disgusting! Poop all over the toilet, AC smelled of mold and body odor strong,shower covered in mold,the walls covered in boogers,blood,and mystery fluid, mattresses were filthy,place is falling apart, and the room NEVER gets cleaned period. I could go on. Id rather sleep outside please do not bring your family here.This place needs to be condemned

Room wasn't the cleanest but was the cheapest and you kinda get what you pay for. No curtains in our room,one lamp which wasnt very bright,half thr channels on the tv didn't work.

Here’s a honest review .The location of where this hotel is ,is not bad you can see the Ferris wheel and you’re by the water , but the hotel or motel itself is very dirty. We had two towels provided to us. One of them was dirty like if somebody already used it we had two washcloths that were supposedly blue, but with white spots like if it was bleached out Like if it was used to clean something. The floor was very dirty. There were hair all over the place. The bed covers was not very comfortable. Thank God we brought our own. The bedsheets were yellow, and the other one was white we chose to sleep on one bed, even though we had double bed The other bed was just too filthy to sleep on .we was provided with two pillows for the two beds but unfortunately we only had to use the two pillows on one of the beds and we had to use, our T-shirts as pillow covers because the pillows didn’t come with pillow covers . There was no hot water for the Shower even though we ran the water for like 45 minutes. This motel is not the best place you would want to stay if you wanted to see the area for the summer or stay here for the summer or even stay here for the winter there’s a lot of crackheads (different people) different personalities)within the area. Just staying here just for one night and couldn’t get any sleep because there was a lot of people screaming from 12 to 4 am in the morning doing God knows what made the stay Very impossible to like. The lady at the front desk was very nice. Unfortunately we had woke her up. She was tired, but she was very kind and showed us the room. She was short staffed so we was very patient with her . She explained after the big storm with the water it messed up the antenna so we had no TV we had no cable . The bathroom and ceiling was coming apart So it was very uncomfortable to take a shower, even though we took a shower in only cold water. P.s there was blood stains on our mattress when we took the sheet off to correct it because somebody put it on wrong. It was very disgusting to see.

I never write a review however I feel this time it’s important so people don’t make mistakes as I did. Booked an apartment with living and dining area in this hotel. I was never Informed that if you bring anyone to your apartment even for two minutes you will be charged 30 dollars per person. Family or friends!! |Also the running water very dirty. . Now I understand the importance of checking reviews!!!

Hi my Sheldon Johnson tonight I stayed at the This hotel last night was very clean. The manager in here was very polite. He’s a hard-working person, right a smile on her face and she keeps the room is very nice. She just took over the place. She’s doing a great job. I would always give a five star to this hotel.

Absolutely the worst in the world I would of rather slept in the park they still didn't return my security dos I called the manager super nasty couldn't speak English hangs up acting like he dont understand what im saying. I'll never go there and I'll keep it a secret that I found bed bugs too while there but that's between me and you

Worst hotel in my life broken glass inside the door and outside owner and management was extremely rude very dirty also I was basically yelled at by staff for asking for clean towels that I never got! I will never book or reserve a hotel without reading the reviews first I hate to even give them a one star 💯💯💯💯
