La Fonda Lopez - Mexican restaurant in Twisp - 102 Methow Valley Hwy, USA

I went to Winthrop to find a place to eat. I was hoping to eat on the river. Almost every restaurant is closed on Mondays🤷‍♀️!? The one place that was open had an hour wait. At 2pm on a Monday, I was hungry so I decided to drive to Twisp. I'm so happy I did. This place was so, so good!! I had the beef enchiladas. They are real beef not ground. Some of the best I have had! The salsa is tasty as well. Service was quick, friendly, and attentive.

This place is absolutely amazing! My wife and I decided to bring our friends here after a long day at the water slides. We called them an hour prior to their closing time and the gentleman on the phone was extremely polite and let us know there was a long wait but he would gladly add us to the list. Upon arrival I let the waiter know we were ready whenever the table was available and he informed us that he would be able to get us in even though he wasn't sure on the phone. I highly recommend stopping and enjoying a delicious meal and a fantastic beverage plus might I add the service is absolutely outstanding... I love everything about it!!

Casual dining. Have had a burger and fries here before and a burrito which was huge and, like the burger, delicious. This time I had chicken fajitas. WOW !!! What flavor. Came with rice and beans and like most Hispanic eatery's, chips and salsa to start. The food is so good I forgot to take a picture. Highly recommend eating here. Will be going back soon

Food was pretty good. Not excellent and portions were smaller than I'm used to. And the peach margarita was not very peachy (3 ordered in group and all same results). Still pretty good food though and would return

Food was excellent. I had fish tacos and they were tastier than ones I've had around socal beaches. The 4 at our table each had different items and each of us thought our food was delicious. Margaritas were also good.

The salsa was mad expensive and was literally barbecue sauce with tomatoes, onions, and cilantro in it. Taquitos were way too hard, and were topped with too much shredded cabbage. The beans that came with them weren't really refried beans, they were just kind of depressing cooked beans with basic rice. The nachos were bussin'. Kind of expensive though. The waitress seemed like she didn't really care, never asked if food was okay or anything like that. Overall, the money we paid was not worth the experience we got.

A little variety of different types, American, Mexican, thai, and not too expensive. Not the best salsa for the chips, but okay. Service is usually friendly and not too long of a wait for your food. I've only ate dinners there, not been there yet during lunch time hours. Clean restrooms are in the foyer of the entry.

Meh. Food wasn't very good and service was just alright. I definitely wouldn't recommend it but also there are not many places in Winthrop/Twist to eat. Just go there knowing its very mediocre.
