LA Fitness - Gym in Bay Shore - 1675 Sunrise Hwy, USA

Overall customer service is great. The sauna is now on full blast after some challenges. Equipment is usually available as you need it or within a quick amount of time. The men maintenance crew could and should do a better job on keeping the toilets cleaner and shower area cleaner but overall it’s a pleasant experience here

Spoke with my Dr. and he recommended I begin to exercise. At the age of 44 I was feeling very exhausted and tired. I researched many different gyms, decided to take advantage of the free tour at LA Fitness in Bayshore. I walked in the entrance and was greeted by Giuseppe who provided me with a great tour of the location, benefits of joining and made me feel real comfortable. Once I choose the plan I felt comfortable with, my first workout Giuseppe was there guiding me throughout the entire workout. I felt great and he has gave me the motivation and confidence I needed. Excellent location and staff.

This location needs serious attention machines broken , over 20 lockers broken and jacuzzi is always out of order. The purpose of going to the gym was to strengthen my back and sit in the jacuzzi so it seems like I have to find another location. I'm at the Bayshore location and I brought this up to the managers attention several times

Love this gym and high recommend it if you’re looking for a gym to join in the area. Jose and the front desk staff are great people and always make my day when I come in. The atmosphere here is great and I feel very comfortable working out here as I get back into exercising after recovering from surgery. I’ve heard good things from other members about the fitness classes and personal trainers.

I had a fantastic experience at this gym! The atmosphere is amazing, and the staff is friendly and supportive. The variety of workout options is impressive. The cleanliness and maintenance are generally top-notch; however, I deducted one star due to some equipment being damaged. Other than that great place to come workout.

Fantastic staff. Helped me out with a three day guest pass quickly, then also let me workout a few extra days for free since I’m in town visiting family. Had all the equipment I needed and the facility was maintained very well (super clean). Great experience, will be back next time I’m in town.

Came in and did a three day guest pass to check it out with a friend. Had such a great time working out with my friend we both decided to get memberships. Everyone that works here was super helpful. Jose got us set up with a great membership program.

This gym is the prime example of what a gym should be. The employees are the embodiment of kindness in all gestures and prove their rigor by going above and beyond with helping their patrons every time. José was a pleasure to speak with and helped secure the best rate for my membership which is the best I could ask for. The friendliness of the staff and attention to detail is immaculate. This LA Fitness has changed my mind on the chain of gyms. Proud to say I am now a happy nationwide member thanks to José and his team!
