This LA Fitness in Encinitas is an excellent gym. The gym is well kept and clean and the layout is very functional. The patrons are respectful and wipe down the equipment after use. It has so much to offer and the staff here is top notch! Marquis took great care of us and was extremely helpful and kind. He is an exceptional employee! I highly recommend this LA Fitness location to anyone looking for a new gym to join!! -Mary & Mark Dodd

With the cold weather we have been having they need to realize the sauna and spa need to be cleaned and sanitized more frequently got a weird skin rash I can't get rid of. Be careful. You'll know when the Jacuzzi is not clean the bubbles stand up thick and stiff with dirt in it and the water gets cloudy. Should be changed and cleaned much more frequently. This place still panders to the Fox News watching elderly not so smart clientele.

I've been a member at LA Fitness, Encinitas for a little over a month. I work out consistently there and have been pretty disappointed. In the personal training area, they are missing 10# and 15# dumbbells. When I brought this to one of the employee's attention, he shrugged his shoulders and said people had been stealing them. I asked when they'll be ordering more and he replied, "We aren't." It was like the punishment of not having weights was at the members' expense. Another thing I would like to address is one of the personal trainers Eileen E. She has made it clear to stay out of her way! She is rude to people working out in "her area" and doesn't appreciate the dedication, gains, or fitness of the company and its clients; it must just be a paycheck to her. I have been a part of the fitness community for years and everyone is allowed a bad day, but her daily toxic attitude isn't worth going back to this location. I don't want this to reflect on the other personal trainers who work alongside their clients and fellow gymgoers. I enjoy the other trainers who demonstrate a sense of pride in their work ethic and love how we all support one another in reaching the same goal, to get fit!

Although I love this gym because of how clean it is, i may have to go else where for what I pay and the times they operate are just inconvenient for motivated early gym goers or late night to clear head space after work . Weekends I can’t get to the gym since I start at 8 and can’t go. I typically want to start my day at the gym. Please alter times so I don’t have to make this decision 🥲 49 bucks should cover you guys to employ someone who will work earlier or stay open later

Visited LA Fitness Encinitas while on vacation. The amenities were clean. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Early morning workouts were great not too busy and they had all the machines and weight stations I needed. I would totally recommend!

The main problem is it’s the only gym I’ve ever been to that doesn’t have adequate air conditioning. 40$ a month to be roasting during workouts. I’m not a Karen at all but everytime I workout there I’m like damn this is way too hot for an indoor gym lol. Overall it’s a decent gym.

Great facilities! Gym is clean and the pool is a good size. Awesome value. And the staff is very friendly
