The place could use a little TLC. Kinda run down and the bathrooms were dirty. Food was mediocre bland flavor. Chips were broken up crumbs and the salsa was like taco sauce literally served in a syrup jar. Service was top notch friendly and fast. Probably would not recommend to anyone.
This was my first time here but my S/O had gone years ago. The mild salsa is Tomatoe sauce with spices. We ordered white queso appetizer and got Velveeta …. It was orange cheese…. I immediately asked for the check because I could only imagine what our entree would have been like.
Michael is a wonderful server, full of happiness and positivity. We are always thrilled to see him at lunch. The kitchen staff does a great job of getting good food out fast.
I was waiting to cool off before I made this post. I took my wife there for what I thought was gonna be an amazing meal. It definitely was not. The sign says fine Mexican cuisine. Which is not what either one of us received. I ordered 2 soft tacos and she ordered a burrito w/rice and beans. So with the tacos there was unseasoned hamburger meat with American cheese melted on top of it. I'm thinking wait this is supposed to be Mexican cuisine. My wife's burrito was the same way. The rice was harder than when it came out of the package. It was honestly the worst food I've ever tried to eat in my whole life. I waited for almost 40 minutes for the server to come back so I could state my complaints about the food. Both of our plates were still full with maybe a bite or 2 out of each plate. I told him this is not Mexican cuisine by any nature. He then tells me that they specialize in a "Tex-Mex" style entree. Um okkk, but where does it say that? It said fine Mexican cuisine on the sign. So I asked for a refund and he has the nerve to say there is no one there to initiate a refund. So I got stuck paying $36 for 2 entrees that we didn't even eat. It was a lesson learned. I drove by that place a hundred times and finally tried it. Well I will drive by a hundred more times and I definitely wouldn't stop again. Nastiest food I've ever tried to choke down. My dogs wouldn't even eat it. The wannabe chef who works there needs some schooling for sure. Who would ever send something so disgusting and nasty to someone's table? Like where is your pride? I honestly have no clue on how a restaurant like that is still open. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THIS BELOW MEDIOCRE FOOD!!!
I wish they had more authentic Mexican food, but it's not bad for a very American Mexican place. I remember being blown away by the burritos when I was a kid and they were at their old location. I tried the shredded beef chimichanga dinner. The sides are boring but the chimi was excellent. The chips and salsa are always great, too.
Been coming here for 30 years. Actually worked my first job at their old location. It's been cool seeing the family hand the business down from the first parents to now lupee. They have awesome Texas sheet cake. Nachos are good too. I'm not a fan of their chicken or steak however. If you really like street tacos I'd recommend Cinco de Mayo just up the road on Alexis. Very good steak over there. Either way you go I'm sure your meal will be good.
Best Flaming Cheese 😋 it's a favorite for me was so glad to be in town. My grandson kept talking about having a cheeseburger until he had that cheese. He said that was much better than a cheeseburger 🤣 he's 4
This place has been a favorite of mine since I was a little girl and now as an adult I think I love it even more as long as they are there I will be there 🥰😁

Iâm embarrassed to say this was our first visit to Frog Leg Inn. It was hands down the best pizza we have had in quite a while. The owner was friendly and the food was delicious. The White Cheese and B&W were our favorites!
We stopped here for some fish and chips, heard it was a good place to eat. We were not disappointed, the food was excellent and our server Steve was a real gem, he was polite and entertaining and made our visit special. We also met some real nice peo
