Very authentic bakery shop in Great Seattle. Though the price doubles compared to average, the ingredient, taste and delicacy worth. I had hazelnut chocolate croissant and raspberry chocolate croissant - both had refreshing and rich taste.
I had a wonderful experience at La Fete Patisserie the other day. The service was very nice and welcoming, and the atmosphere was lovely. The place had French music playing, and the interior design was very stylish.
I ordered the ham and cheese pastry, and it was absolutely perfect. The pastry was flaky and delicious, with an outer crust of melted cheese. The quality of the pastries is top-notch, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a delicious and authentic French pastry.
I would recommend La Fete Patisserie a million times over going to Starbucks across the street. The pastries are much better, the service is friendlier, and the atmosphere is more inviting.
It’s a cute little shop on Mercer Island. The staff was really patient and gave us great recommendations. We got the Brioche Fig and Cheese. This was creamy, savory, and sweet. I would definitely recommend the matcha croissant. The cold brew and americano were ok.
The fig & cheese brioche is out of this world!
We also had a pain au chocolat et framboise and that was good but nothing to rave about.
To drink we had a Cappuccino and it was average, the espresso could use a redialing in. We also had a Blue of London tea and that was a nice a subtle black tea.
The cafe had an atmosphere that felt like a chic cosmetic store with a trendy interior. I encountered a woman there, who was quite friendly and informed me about the most sought-after items on the menu. She shared how the business had begun just prior to the pandemic, but managed to endure and has now gained significant popularity. I thoroughly enjoyed our conversation. The cafe was situated right across from a big Starbucks and I was glad I chose this small cafe instead of the Starbucks. Highly recommend!
Such a cute place for a cup of coffee and you don’t want to miss their matcha croissant. Best croissant in town!
You know I always give my utmost honest review. Not because I am hating on the business, or being a Karen lol but because I truly do appreciate food and believe it's a form of art and expression!
"Best croissants, not so great service."
I come here for the croissants, but their customer service is not so great. The barista is always busy/rude and wants you out of his hair as fast as possible. But whatever, I am used to mean service, once you travel all over you tend to ignore it if the food is amazing. I think I've stayed in WA too long and use to the welcoming customer service. However, Lately, it's just been down the hill all over the Pacific Northwest.
Back to food....
I'm very particular about my croissants, and I think this is the best croissant I've had in Washington. I'm almost afraid to share this because I am going to have to fight you guys over them just kidding hehe! I want you to enjoy good food as well. The raspberry croissant here is just like the ones I've had in Paris. So light, crispy yet soft, and not too buttery! Soooo delicious. I've also had their croissant with raisins and their mini-like madeleines. (See photo) I have yet to try the chocolate or almond croissants, usually, they sell out by noon. I haven’t had their coffee yet, but I’ll keep you posted. Their café noisette looks good.
It's a small place, defiantly awkward trying to get in line due to the table setting. You can order ahead. Overall I'm impressed.
Amazing pastries!!!
Such a cute place with very yummy treats! They are large portions but so perfect! Each one was great! The red glazed ones are raspberry filled! And they have the classic Pan au Chocolate!! All were soooo good!! You can’t go wrong!
