La Corona - Mexican restaurant in Red Bluff - 914 Walnut St, USA

I have been going here for many years. I think they have the best Salsa in Red Bluff for sure! Then there is the friendliness of the entire staff! It has a very small "hometown" feel to it, that supersedes that of plenty of other Mexican Restaurants I have visited in Cali, the USA and the world. I usually see many of the ranchers of the local area that are in the beef or the sheep/goat business in here almost every time I visit. My nephew loves their shrimp burritos! Still family owned, Juan made me feel like family just last night after grabbing a to-go order after a busy day of work. I recommend this place for sure!

The restaurant itself is fine if you don't mind canned ingredients, and the owner is very cool. My issue is the main waitress that always gives me an attitude when I send an item that was ordered with no vegetables back to the kitchen because it was made loaded with the veggies cooked in. The two times I sucked it up, dealt with the gross flavor and just picked all the veggies out (which takes 10+ minutes while the food is losing it's heat) -- she still kept coming to the table to roll her eyes at me a throw around some attitude. Life's just too short for me to pay good money to be abused and condescended to. I was only there to get a gift certificate for my mother-in-law who loves the place, but Google wanted an honest review so there it is.

We came to this restaurant because of the reviews. We were traveling. The servers and staff were wonderful. Very helpful. The restaurant was full of happy customers. Felt very comfortable. The food; not so good. Seriously, I cannot figure out why the reviews are so good. Everyone should go try it. We all have different taste buds but if your looking for good Mexican food, this isn't the place.

We’ve been to all the Mexican restaurants in town and this place is by far best Mexican food and service we’ve had. The horchata is amazing and their plates are phenomenal. Best flavor and value hands down. Truly can’t recommend them enough.

Food is the best in town and we have a lot of Mexican food choices in Red Bluff. Their salsa is amazing. My daughter always asks me to stop by and pick some up on my way home for her.

Wow, what a great restaurant! The chile relleno/enchilada combo was delicious, and the food my friends got looked so good, too. Such nice people, wish I could go back again, but since I'm traveling, not this time. :(

1st time here, tortilla chips served warm with good salsa. The tostada Supreme was great, and my friend enjoyed her chimichanga. Plenty to eat, prices very reasonable.

Very tasty. Their hot salsa is pretty weak though ngl. Nice staff and clean bathrooms. Their ice is better than sonics.
