Positive: The night attendant was incredibly nice and helped me when I forgot my keys in the room by activating a new key! Awsome Negative: Location is not the best but property was very clean and quiet.

ONE OF THE CLEANEST MOTELS IN LONG BEACH, rooms up to date very nice , clean beddding clean towels , everything good , nice plant pots good place to stay , definitely coming back

Where do I start? First, I was yelled at and threatened with "Do you want me to refund your charges?!" as in, he was trying to kick me out. I was yelled at because...wait for it...I was parking within the parking lines. I was made to move my car even though other cars were taking up two spots each due to the parking angle. The location was garbage. They don't mention they are in the middle of an industrial park. Really trashy area. The room was the smallest room I've ever stayed in and it was NOT cleaned. I found hairs on the pillows, hairs on the walls of the shower, used soap still in the shower. Outside the rooms was just an open storage area, car tires, trash, misc junk all over. To top it all off, there was no smoke alarm or fire suppression system. The spot for the smoke alarm was just the mounting bracket and wires. This place clearly does not take pride in their business. Do NOT give this trash business your money

Room 105 got my Veteran friend and I very sick. We paid for two days. Left injured. The AC had us sneezing all night and a cough that made me piss my pants. My friend thought he had Covid and he got vaccined...works at the VA for God's Sakes! Negative for Covid! Then the guy tells me either move where I parked...in front of my room...so move or park on street! Then he tells me don't bring no more stuff in the room, it's only to sleep! I needed to clean it! There's a big hoke under the sink in restroom too. I liked the murual on ceiling but left sick...horrible! Noisy because of big rig trucks

People that complain about this place are a bunch of whining cry babies. Allow yourself to surprised, pleasantly! $75 plus tax on the night I stayed, maybe weekend rates are more. The outside is simple, but nice, and the inside is much nicer than you'd expect. All new fixtures, except the AC which still blew strong and cold, microwave and fridge. New, clean sheets and the bed was comfortable. EVERYTHING was clean inside, despite what others say this place IS NOT dirty. There was obvious effort into cleaning the room. Yes, a little on the small side but the space was managed well so it seems bigger than it is. Despite being across the street from a truck stop, the rooms kept the noise out VERY well, you'd never notice unless you stepped outside. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Definitely recommend giving it a try, but leave a room for me because I will be back!

The check in process was very seamless. The room we had was very small compared to what the pictures depict but it was clean. There was no way to plug in the microwave where it was located and it was unplugged when we walked in. The outlet by the door had no covering and moved a bit. The bathroom was an or size and the tub was a nice size, and had a little ledge to sit on like a jacuzzi. The tv was a nice size and the wifi is pretty good. The front desk staff is very nice. We had no comforter on the bed only a sheet so I asked for one and they got me on right away. The parking is a little tricky to get out of and there is not much but you can park on the street. This is a trucking area so there are is a lot of fast food in the near area within walking distance. Would have given it a 5 if the room was bigger.

The room was very good for the price. The utilities and appliances were up to par. The room was comfortable the whole time and I was very pleased with the service. They were helpful and polite. I would definitely consider staying there again.

My boyfriend and I needed an economical room to spend the night for a short layover. We were absolutely exhausted from traveling all day and just needed a bed to sleep in. Expedia represented La Bonita as an affordable option that was supposed to be only a short distance from the airport. The hotel was a fifteen minute cab ride away and was tucked in a deserted alleyway in an industrial area. When we saw the hotel it didn't match the photos we had seen on Expedia with cute flower boxes in each window--the flowers were all dead. Upon entering our room we were smacked in the face by a wave the smell of old cigarette butts. There was no option to get a non-smoking room. The room lacked a deadbolt and opened onto the parking lot, which made me very uncomfortable because of the eerie back alley location.||||Our sheets had stains and hairs all over them. The floor was dirty and the bathroom was also extremely dirty. I had to use cleaning wipes before using the sink, shower knobs, and toilet. There was a spotty old looking towel to use as a shower mat and the shower itself was tiny with a shower curtain covered in mossy looking sludge. There was no extra toilet paper and the walls were so thin that we could hear our neighbors talking with our television on.||||If you are looking for a hotel near Long Beach Airport save yourself money and a night's worth of disappointment and stay at the nearby Marriott or Holiday Inn, both of which are only minutes from the airport. The money my boyfriend and I spent on taking a taxi to and from the airport would have more than covered a stay at the Marriott.||
