La Bella Inn - Motel in Tavares - 101 W Burleigh Blvd, USA

Excellent stay for a 5 day bass tourney. Kept boat right in front of the room. Very safe and secure, staff was super nice beds were comfortable shower was very good as well. I will stay there every time I go to Tavares and I can highly recommended to everyone !!!!!

Booked a last minute trip to the area for college softball games. It was president's weekend and all other hotels in the area were $289 per night. My total at La Bella was $358 for 3 days. Check in was easy and there was parking available. Room had a minor smell of insense or air freshener that I didn't like but wasn't overpowering. Two queen beds with flat pillows but clean sheets. TV was large and worked well with a good assortment of channels. AC worked almost too well and when on it drowned out the sound of the highway. The desk area was large enough to work from, I used my laptop and had plenty of space. There was a coffee pot, coffee, mini fridge, iron and ironing board in the room. The bathroom was very small but fairly clean. In the shower the water pressure was good. They do provide shower gel and shampoo but it's low grade, bring your own. Towels are thin but they stocked 4 and each morning the staff visited and dropped off more towels, bottled water and anything else you need. I travel for work so I usually stay at Hiltons or Marriotts and this place is nothing like that. But if you need a cheap place to spend a few days it's not bad. I would stay there again.

Watched housekeeping clean up rooms, and They only change out the towels. They do not 🚫 clean walls, or floors, or bathrooms or doors. Nor the toilets. The Comforters, beds and bed sheets were stained, and smelled old and damp. The doors have either gaps in the he side of bottom, not a safe and secure feeling when staying here.

I stayed in room 114 and it was a little scary the door was not easy to keep shut.. There were nasty blood stains on the walls the room smelled like stale smoke i felt grossed out . there were stains on thr towels and the bed sheets had burn holes in them. Very uncomfortable.

Came to Florida for a somber reason. It was explained to the lady at the desk. When I got here, I told them I need a smoking room. They didn't have one available but the wife said we could smoke in the room. Then I went upstairs to get in my room and the key didn't work so I had to go back to the office. Upon arriving at office, the lady proceeded to tell me she didn't charge us taxes. Like, u can't do math? So my sister had to pay an additional 30 bucks for the taxes. The room cost 3 of us108.00 plus taxes. Somehow 30 additional dollars doesn't sound right for taxes on a 108.00 bill. So that's done, and I get my key reprogrammed. I go back upstairs to my room and wasn't opening the door right. Had to go back downstairs and tell them. The husband came up and showed me to push up on the handle. So I got in. Turned on the AC and it wouldn't work so my husband took the filter out. It had dust on it every bit of a quarter inch thick. So he went in the bathroom to clean it and called me in. There was blood or rust or something on the hand towel he grabbed to use. Then I looked around and there was dirt on the walls and floor. It's disgusting. I logged onto wifi and it kept kicking me off. Its ridiculous. I would never recommend this dive to anyone not even my worst enemy.

The la Bella inn was a good stay. Like, it was okay. In fact, the people at the front desk were very friendly and helpful people. I just have a few things to suggest about the room. Our room was clearly beautifully renovated and we slept comfortably on a clean bed. I tried to not be frustrated that there was only one room outlet (which the hvac was plugged into) and one other usable outlet by the bathroom sink - so there was only the main room ceiling light and some dimmer lighting by the sink. but it would have been nice to have a set of lamps on the nightstands and somewhere to plug something in belongings on the nightstand? Room would not have been suitable for someone needing accommodations for electricity by their bed. There were also a few unsightly holes in the walls and a few of our towels had holes in them. More towels would have been nice; we didn’t have any hand towels hanging on the sink rack, and only two face and two bath towels by the shower. Also, online it lists a lot cheaper for rooms but we paid about $135 ($119 before tax) and I paid the same amount in a room at another place the next day that had more than enough accommodations and very very decent rooms that the place could have easily charge more for. So, I’m not sure if we were paying the cost for a newly renovated room at la Bella or what but I think for the cost that is paid that a little more accommodations should be available in the room. There isn’t a phone to call the desk or info in case of emergency…or suggestions for places to eat would have been a nice touch since we are from out of the state. Little things to make us feel welcome and “at home”. but we slept well and comfortable for the night at least.

Terrible place to stay. When you leave your room to go somewhere the owners come in your room and go through your belongings! They said they where just cleaning but they didn't know I had a ring indoor camera set up.... and when I confronted them about the violation of my privacy they asked me to leave.
