Seems like everywhere on the island is like this.. mediocre service and top tier food. I don't particularly mind it. The people are nice enough and it feels kind of like part of the experience of visiting LBI. Softest steak I've ever had. Delicious and melts in your mouth. Unexpectedly amazing. Check your emotional expectations and enjoy the food I guess
Would go agian because the food was amazing. I had the chicken soup, burrito de pollo, and mixed fajitas. Chicken soup was okay tasted like chili from Wendy's. Burrito de pollo was very good and testy with a bit of spiciness. Mixed fajitas was good aswell. Everything was cooked well with alot of sauce. We walked in and saw the sign we need to wait to be seated but the workers didnt even acknowledge us. When i asked how long they kept on saying couple minutes but ended up being about 30 minutes. We placed the order immediately after being seated and the food took about another 25 minutes. The food was decently priced. Overall would definitely recommend because of how good the food is but the service could be much better.
La Bamba is an absolute gem that has brought the vibrant flavors of Mexico to the shores of Long Beach Island. From the moment I walked in, I was transported by the lively and inviting atmosphere. The staff were not only friendly but also incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, making recommendations that perfectly suited my tastes. Now, let's talk about the food. Wow! Each dish I tried was a masterpiece of flavors and textures, showcasing the skill and passion of the chefs. Whether it was the mouthwatering tacos, the sizzling fajitas, or the delectable churros for dessert, every bite was a celebration of authentic Mexican cuisine. What truly sets La Bamba apart is their commitment to using the freshest ingredients, which elevates every dish to a whole new level. The presentation was stunning, and you could tell that every detail was carefully considered. I left the restaurant with a full belly and a happy heart, already planning my next visit. If you're searching for a dining experience that combines exceptional service, a lively ambiance, and a menu that pays homage to the rich flavors of Mexico, look no further than La Bamba Mexican Restaurant on LBI. It's a must-visit for anyone who appreciates the artistry of culinary excellence.
One of my favorite fish taco joints along the NE coast. I ordered the steak, fish, and shrimp tacos. The shrimp and fish tacos were amazing. We also ordered the Mole Chicken Enchiladas, and nachos. Enchiladas were okay, and nachos were good. Highly recommended for the fish and shrimp tacos👌. Staff was friendly.
Great food and service! The presentation was excellent! Gracias
First time getting food here and I was not disappointed. I’ve seen them over the years while on vacation and always wanted to try them and so glad I did. We were just grabbing a quick lunch so I opted for a burrito, and chose the Burrito De Mariscos. I have to say it was one of the best, most flavorful burritos I’ve had. The blend of seafood (which was cooked perfectly) with the rice and beans and spices was delicious. And it was big enough to share or get two meals out of it. There was no chips and salsa that you get at some places with takeout, but that wasn’t an issue for me today. I’ll definitely be back to try other things.
Portion sizes are great, but past that this is an average Mexican restarant. The food is ok, but not stellar. Parking behind the building is also limited. Overall an average meal at an average place for an ever so slightly higher than expected price.
DELICIOUS FOOD!! Fresh and well seasoned and it made my taste buds sing and my tummy smile! Also Great atmosphere. love the decor! Friendly staff overall. However, extremely small parking lot though and the wait time, at least on a weekend night (Friday) was extremely long (2+hrs) for my small family order of 4 entrees. Ordering more in advance next time.
Surprised this came up as a business to review, but beachfront in the off-season is just lovely and peaceful. Great for the dog's early morning walk as the sun comes up.
Great place for an Italian meal on Long Beach Island. The food came out so incredibly fresh that it took a couple minutes before I could even eat it. I highly recommend the penne alla vodka and the fried mozzarella. Both were incredible. This has bee
