Good burritos, friendly staff. Building is in need of some updating, but that's no big deal. The chorizo was tasty and their home made hot sauce was good! I'll definitely be back if I'm in the area!

My review is based on a friend getting me burrito: I absolutely loved it! The size of these burritos are huge, they’re not cheap on the ingredients or condiments, and they’re as fresh tasting an hour later as they are on the spot. I had ground beef, jalapeños, tomato, lettuce burrito. I will be visiting in person most definitely.

This is my favorite place to eat in the world. I've never had a better tasting burrito. I ate there regularly for 12 years, at least once a week for 5 of them until I moved away. I usually order the Super Burrito, Combination (Pork & Steak) with beans, cheese, sour cream, rice, and Regular Sauce. Light red/brown sauce is mild. The Red sauce is HOT. Green sauce also has excellent flavor. My parents always got chicken and my brother gets chorizo. Fresh avocado, tomato, lettuce, and onion are also available. The flavor here is impossible to duplicate.

Still the best burrito I have ever eaten in almost 40 years....Great Staff too. Simple, great food at a fair price.

I went there 9/7/2023 and threw up about 20 minutes afterwards. Not just a little bit, but uncontrollable projectile vomiting and I still feel sick tonight about 9 hours after consuming this food. Wouldn’t be surprised if there were unhygienic prep or storage methods used. When I entered the restaurant, I noticed the doorknob needed repair and the 2nd entry door that you walked through on the way in, looked like it hadn’t ever been wiped down or cleaned. Also it’s overpriced for what you get. Cool that they have a drive thru available for customers but yeah I’m just sad and disappointed about having thrown up immediately after eating their food.

Loved it back in college and still love it today! Best burritos around with simple yet tasty ingredients, and NO rice in them (as God intended). 😎

Nice folks, decent food but pretty dirty dining area. Nothing looked like it had been cleaned in days and I've seen cleaner bathrooms in a dive bar. Pretty gross.

I’ve lived in Los Angeles, home of some of the best Mexican food this side of Mexico, for 20 years and I’m a foodie. No burrito I’ve ever had in the US compares to La Bamba. Ignacio, who works there, has been there for over 20 years, and he tells me the secret is not to change the quality ingredients or the recipe when it works. Try it, you’ll see.
