Not a bad experience, but definitely not a 2-Michelin-star one. We did the Evolution tasting menu.. not worth the price. Good service and food but not at the level of a 2 Michelin star restaurant, not even a 1 star. From all the tasting menus I have done in my life, this one is for sure the one I have enjoyed the least. The service was good but not as professional and precise as expected. They took quite some time to take our order, and then took too much time between every plate, at the point we started to feel full and lose appetite. And the food was good but lacked creativity and exquisite flavor. In general the experience of a good restaurant, but definitely not a Michelin starred one.

Well, we drove 1 hour and 30 minutes to this Michelin 2-star restaurant and ordered the winter course. The bread was very delicious and crunchy, deserving a 10/10. The oysters were fresh and the flavor of the dish was very impressive, earning a 9/10. The bison is highly recommended; it was very tasty and tender, a perfect 10/10. I can't remember the rest of the food I ate. The dessert was extremely sweet, perhaps too much for the entire course. My mouth felt uncomfortable while driving home, and everyone else felt the same about the food. The service was okay, though I appreciated how they explained each dish. However, they were somewhat robotic, coming and going only to serve the next dish. I had to wait for my next dish to get a fork for the bread, and my water cup remained empty after the second dish. The environment was very nice, and it's a good place to eat overall. In my opinion, I would give it 3 stars. Although the bison and bread were highlights, the $1100 cost for 4 people and the 1 hour and 30 minute drive make me prefer to enjoy Lafite at home with some takeout Asian food. I’ve learned from Disney that even the most expensive restaurants can serve food comparable to dog food. I’ve also realized that a Michelin 2-star rating doesn’t necessarily mean it’s the best restaurant in town. Everyone has different tastes, and I still recommend trying it once in your life. At least you’ll have your own experience to judge from, whether good or bad.

I guess somebody had to get the 2 Michelin stars in Miami but this was a far cry from other Michelin star restaurants that I've been to. The seafood was horrible. The lobster was mushy from either being left in the ceviche or sous vide too long. The other was a fish wrapped around strong lime flavored guacamole, very sad. We had the wine pairing with the menu tasting and boy were they stingy with these wines, $40 and up bottles we were only being given an ounce or 2 with each course and to ask for more took several steps and by the time you got another splash the food was finished. I assume it was the Serbian manager providing the wine pairing and not a sommelier because the taste and pairing descriptions were poorly described. I would have just bought a bottle and saved ourselves from that embarrassment. The bread course was very good and the mash potatoes were something very special. Also the amuse-bouche was very nice, I'm not a fan of foam but I can appreciate it as an ingredient. So in conclusion if you love bread, mash potatoes and have $1.5k burning a hole in your pocket you might want to check this place out. Also I didn't complain because usually in a tasting menu not every dish is a home run so you just wait for the next course. In this case I realized 5 courses in this 7 course meal that I had made a mistake assuming Michelin stars were the same in Miami as they are in DC and California, France etc. But alas they are not and this is a new fad that we are seeing in places like Miami and Atlanta where this once prestigious award is being handed out frivolously. I do not blame Robuchon but I do blame The Michelin Guide for this experience.

We came here for my birthday and it was such a memorable, delicious experience. Details: -The chefs and servers: they are the warmest, most welcoming team of experts. Our servers were so helpful and knowledgeable, and Chef Jason came over and chatted with us for a bit - he shared that Joel Robuchon has a preference for teppanyaki-style cooking and pointed out there were no flames in the kitchen, only iron griddles. The kitchen is fully open so you can watch the chefs at work. -the ambiance: upscale, sophisticated and contemporary but also warm and cozy. -the food: I think you can pick either of the two tasting menus and you will be thrilled no matter what. Only caveat is you and your dining mate must choose the same menu. They accommodated my pescatarian/no cilantro (that gene sucks!) request easily. -There’s also an add-on menu from which we wanted to order the caviar and poached egg but it was sold out. :( We had the langoustine instead and it melts in your mouth like butter. Apparently there’s an amazing duck dish they serve on weekdays too. -We also did a cheese plate and Chef Jason sent over a tawny port to go with it, which was impossibly rich with deep, sweet flavors that paired perfectly with the salty cheeses and tangy quince. I love a chance to try something I wouldn’t normally think to order. -Choose the menu based on your hunger level. We did the smaller winter menu with the above add-ons and despite small portions spread out over 3 hours, it was a lot of food. I was quite full by the time we had the cheese plate (which was before dessert). The bread at the beginning had something to do with being full but it was the softest, flakiest croissant and butter so I regret nothing.

I'd expect the water to be included in the experience so that was bit of a disappointment. Also it would've been nice with wine pairing but half glass. Thing I noticed when I walked to the bathroom was that no one bothered to sort my napkin or change it as well, minor detail but details matter..

This is the best restaurant I've been to in Miami. Obviously that's not a profound statement since it's the only restaurant with 2 Michelin stars, but it lived up to its billing. Food, service, wine pairing was fantastic. The service was top notch. We were seated right away. The servers knew our names. My wife and I went for our anniversary, and the staff knew about it. I'm not big into that sort of stuff, but I noticed it and it was a nice touch and stands out within Miami. The food was fantastic. We did the full Evolution Menu. They also have like 8 Signature Creation dishes that you can choose to add on, or you can supplement certain dishes with the Signature Creations. We added the caviar dish, and my wife supplemented the fish dish with the scallops. Every dish from the Evolution Menu was fantastic. We agreed the Le Risotto was the best. Flavor was super rich and had great depth without feeling overly buttered or creamy. My wife's second favorite was the filet mignon, and mine was the L'oeuf de poule (poached egg wrapped in a crispy coating with caviar, on top of smoked salmon). It was surprisingly light and packed many flavors. We were pretty full by the end, so it's an ample sized tasting and not too much like at some other places. We had 2 couples next to us, and they did the smaller tastings. They had some very different dishes that looked great, and we made a note to come back and try that. The wine pairing was spectacular. What I appreciated was that it was wide ranging. Champagne, white, a sake, a sparkling red and a really nice red. It wasn't just several glasses of whites and reds. The inside of the restaurant is really pretty too, and being seated at the "bar" was nice since you can see into the kitchen. I would recommend that versus the table tops, although the table tops are better for groups dining together. True 5 star place.

This was my number one reason for coming to Miami, and let me just say, the food was something else. Now, let me tell you how everything began. I ended up making a mistake with my reservation, choosing an outside table instead of the chef's counter. However, the manager came in, and I explained my mistake. He kindly moved us to the counter with no issues. To me, these are the small things that matter most - people who are willing to work with you. The service was just extraordinary, with Andres leading the team. He was a very knowledgeable and super friendly server, patient with my tired lady after a day of being in the sun and drinking. I have always been into good food, and the food and presentation were simply amazing, which is why it's a 2-star Michelin restaurant. We had the four-course menu, which was more than enough without the wine pairing. Everything that was brought to us was dazzlingly delicious, and the presentation was just wow. Take a look at the pictures, and let me know if you would try this spot. The food and the staff were all super friendly, and I will definitely come back on my next trip. Kudos to Andres and the manager who was working there this Saturday, and to the girl who was going to the Beyoncé concert. Again, people make places, and you all created a memorable moment for us. Cheers, BN

One of the best restaurants in Miami. The atmosphere, the food experience. The service was also one of the best. The Egg.... Organic crispy poached egg, Imperial Caviar, and smoked salmon. For art/food lovers, this dish is another league.
