Such a great place to relax. The breeze and the shade are just amazing.
I went to Kentucky Dam Beach a lot this summer, and the beach was dirty earlier this summer, but it seems that they cleaned up the Beach and the Lake quite a lot towards the end of the summer! The water is getting colder this time of year, and I believe the actual Beach is closed after Labor Day, so if you want to swim, do it now! The only reason for the 4 stars is the bathroom, it's pretty outdated and gross.
t was okay.... The bathrooms definitely need some work, like maybe some upgrades because I'm pretty sure the hand dryer was from the 70's, like I'm dead serious I was appalled by the out dated bathroom, and the sandy beach is a little more rocky and trashy than I remember and the lake water was really filthy like real bad!! Kentucky Lake Officials needs to be doing some serious maintenance and make overs, and stay on top of stuff!! Just needs some revamping!!!!
Love this beach!! Wish there was a snack shop closer, but I understand the keep the trash off the beach and out of the water thought. Bring sun block, there is no shade unless you climb the hill or bring your own. :-)
Cute beach. Great location. Access to shelter House with Restrooms. Clean, although could use someone to clean up fish carcasses along the bank, to prevent annoyance of insects.
It was pretty stinky. There were 2 dead fish right on the edge of the beach and one floating in the beach area. Lots of bits of trash floating around. The beach, grass area & parking lot was mostly clean. (Except the dead fish and bits of trash on the bank) There were no real bathrooms. They were boarded up and there were Porta potties instead. The snow cone guy that was set up was really nice! Although he's not always there. We likely won't be back.
Fun clean and I can't water to go back
Too hot to stay but seems like a good time so take that review at face value.
I love this place! We had my daughters birthday here back in August. She wanted a pool party with sleepover and it was perfect! The staff was so friendly and even brought out stuff for sâmores for the girls! They have 2 brand new pools - 1 shallow
Jungle Golf delivered on the course experience for sure. The course was challenging, exciting and adventurous. This course is nestled in the rolling hills of kentucky and offers challenging holes that even if include an iconic windmill. The course wa
I was looking for somewhere to take the kids and their friends during Spring break and decided to try out the Kentucky Lake Family Fun Center. What a great decision. As 14 and 15 year Olds they were excited to get into the go carts. Seeing the joy an
