Absolutely delicious. This is the most delicious food I’ve ever had. I’m very pleased with the service. My girlfriend and I actually ate this food from a food truck at a flea market in Columbus New Jersey. It’s such a great introduction to this amazing food. We can’t wait to actually go to the brick and mortar restaurant.
Nothing but good vibes and great fresh food here. A little bit far for me, otherwise I’d be here almost every day :-)
I ordered the Lechon Kiwali (deep fried pork), Lumpia Shanghai (Filipino spring rolls) and rice lunch combo as well as the Ginisang Sayote (sautéed chayote) through Grubhub and the order was timely. The food was tepid temperature (not too unusual for Filipino food, but not super hot as some people ordering might expect), but very tasty.
The Ginisang Sayote was flavorful, with a very mild kick and some minced pork in it. It was soupier than some other versions of this I have had but not bad at all. Of the two items ordered this was the warmer of the two and came in an 18 oz container.
The lunch combo consisted of 5 chunks of lechon kiwali and five lumpia shanghai. The lumpia came with the typical sweet and sour dipping sauce but was a little limp, barely crisp. The taste was excellent though. The lechon came with the typical liver-based dipping sauce and was very tasty as well, being crispier than the lumpia. The set came with about two cups of sticky white rice. Overall the food was delicious, but I suspect this whole meal would be better in the restaurant.
I did feel that it was a bit pricey at nearly $35 for the two items ($12.50 for the 18 oz container of ginisang, and $13 for the lunch combo which only had five pieces of each item). I was well satiated between the two dishes but would have been leaning heavily on the rice to feel satisfied with the lunch combo, so not the best value if you are value conscious.
I was somewhat disappointed in not being able to order the turon by the piece or pair as well, the only option being by the tray.
Came across this restaurant through a friend. I love their Kalderetang Kambing, Kare-kare & Pork Barbeque. Definitely will be coming back here when in Hamilton area.
Attention Owner;
My kids have ordered from Kusina Ni Inang many times. Today (9/15/23) is my second time ordering their food this week. Overall, the food is excellent. However, the meat in the tiny egg rolls was stale. You wouldn't notice until you opened them up and smelled the meat. I know it's bad because my family has been in the restaurant business for many years. I hope that the owner will be more cautious in keeping the food fresh.
We will order again, but I will skip the egg rolls.
I can’t believe I found this wonderful place by accident while buying something the next door. Everything here is like homemade, so fresh and delicious. Definitely will be back for more yummy food and sweets .
This place would surely benefit from competition. I feel like because there's no competition in the area, they are getting complacent.
Food is ok at best. I feel like there are better quality Filipino food options down in Mt Laurel and Blackwood NJ.
One thing I don't understand and really did not feel was right was how they *microwaved* the food that they had in their turo turo selection *right in front of you* before giving it to you. Aren't these "hot" foods supposed to be kept at a certain temperature? Can't they invest in a proper food warmer for ALL their foods, even the fried ones? Oh and word of advice to Kusina Ni Inang staff - don't microwave the fried foods. Makes it taste worse and chewy, I'd rather eat it cold.
Prices, also, are exorbitantly high. $6 for 2 siopao? $3 for empanada? No.
Let me also bring up their attitudes - it wasn't the best. Everyone behind the counter felt like they didn't want to be there. No welcoming atmosphere. Kusina Ni Inang staff - Just smile, it won't hurt you.
If you can, skip this place and head to Manila Cafe in Mt Laurel or Manila Central in Blackwood. Better food quality, better prices, and no microwaves needed.
Kusina ni Inang has potential. They need someone to wake them up and push them to improve.
Best Filipino restaurant as far as I can remember! Their pork sinigang with gabi is phenomenal! The pork will melt in your mouth. The lechon kawali was cooked with the right crispiness but still soft inside, and it goes well with their homemade vinegar. Their tortang talong, which is my favorite comfort food, is just out of this world. I left the restaurant convinced that this could be the world's best Filipino restaurant!

Cesar's NEVER disappoints. Their staff is always super nice and greets you with a smile. The service is super fast even when they're crazy busy. By far the best bagels in the area. Also the breakfast sandwiches are always packed with eggs and bacon!
A wonderful historic home and a terrific opportunity to visit this scenic property in Mercer County. The home and grounds are lovely. The staff are genuinely enamored with the history and the magic of Kuser Farm Park.
