We were on Maui for 10 days and this was probably one of, if not the best meal we had on the island. I booked our lunch spot for a Saturday since we were planning on being in Kula for a bit and then heading up to Haleakala. We were sat right away and just LOVED the views! They were breathtaking. We didn't realize that they were serving Brunch that Saturday so we were disappointed at first because my husband really wanted their Ramen (which was not available that day). He finally caved in and got the special that day, ginger crusted ahi tuna with a light salad. It was his favorite meal!! One of my daughters got the breakfast sampler, my other daughter got a pepperoni pizza and I got a white pizza. The pizzas were made in their outdoor pizza oven and were delicious. The drinks were great and served quickly from the bar. They also had a someone playing some live music and he heard our table guessing all the songs so he played us anything from Frozen, to Metallica to Jimmy Buffet. We really enjoyed this experience!

Decent breakfast spot after Haleakala. They have limited options at the moment due to some water restrictions but a good place overall. Great service and they had live music when we went. Nice views from their indoor seating. Note that they will have bottled water and paper plates and utensils due to the water shortage. Note that not all menu options may be available so they will have a limited menu and are doing the best they can. Be kind to staff and Come support a local business!

My husband and I had a great Sunday lunch at Kula Lodge & Restaurant during our recent trip to Maui. The food and service was excellent. The views from the balcony were beautiful. The prices were reasonable. Highly recommended.

Came in to dine with a party of 6. Server had 7 tables in her section. They were severely understaffed. When dinner arrived 2 of our entrees sat at the table undercooked for 30 min while the waitress was too busy to check-in. When the entree was finally refired because we tirelessly waved the busser down, we had all finished our meal (which we were still charged full price for). My steak was missing the sauce that was supposed to accompany it. Nobody took our drink order while we ate dinner. Which again, we finally waved the busser down for it. At the end of the meal, the dishes sat empty and stacked for another 30 minutes (I looked at my watch) while we waited for the server to remember us. Whom, God bless her heart, apologetically took our dessert order. We had brought candles in for my sisters birthday and they forgot about them and didn't bring spoons with the dessert. Called management and explained all of this to them 24 hours later to which "RC" said "what would you like me to do?" My favorite line he told us was "it was our fault for letting an employee dine at a discounted rate during holiday season." After telling him what happened at dinner, he was quiet and that was his reply. Nice braddah ...half of us work in the industry and understand the bare minimum of quality service and proper treatment of your guests. Our bill was $600 and we tipped 20%. At $100 per person this is not how to treat people. Make it make sense. Management should be ashamed and the owners should know how they are treating locals. The worst part is that the food was excellent and the chefs do a great job, aside from one undercooked dish. The front of house needs a reality check.

Wonderful staff, pretty garden setting, cooler temperatures by 15 degrees Fahrenheit compared to the beaches. A restaurant and gift shop on property.

This was a fantastic place to stop for brunch. It has a great view, and the banana bread French toast was mouth watering! The gardens around it are lovely, and has a gift shop within the same parking lot.

Stopped off for lunch. The restaurant was busy. We had to wait awhile. Our food was fresh and delicious. I would make a reservation for this place.

Restaurant view was unbelievable! The food was delicious. I had the French Onion Soup and it was the best! I also had the Crab Cakes and enjoyed them, too. My cousin had the Ribs and I had one. They were tender and had a wonderful savory flavor! The service was excellent and again I can't say enough about the overall experience! It is the full package! |We were so thankful someone recommended we eat here! (Thanks Ruby!)

It's a 5-10 minute hike up the hill, but completely worth it. Some of the best photos and most beautiful scenery I saw on my visit to Haleakala was at this vista, and it was next to the visitor center, so there was parking at the trailhead. It also p
