Kuhio Banyan Club - Hotel in Honolulu - 2310 Kūhiō Ave. #140, USA

The hotel staff was friendly and polite. The front desk called to check if everything in the room was okay and it was great. The room had new carpet, the towels and sheets were clean, and the mini kitchen was fully stocked with cooking utensils, a refrigerator and microwave. The hotel is perfectly located within a short walk from the beach, shopping malls, and several restaurants. The hotel security, maintenance, and housekeeping staff were visible and courteous. It is an older building but it’s clean and comfortable. Kuhio Bayan Club is a great place to stay with everything you need for a wonderful Hawaiin vacation.

This was a very dated hotel. A one bedroom is in fact a Murphy bed that folds down from the wall and sloped a little from head to foot of the bed. TV had local channels and I was on the quiet side of the hotel, away from the club side. The AC in my room was fantastic, but less powerful in my nephew’s room. It was clean hotel and the staff were friendly. They also had free chairs and small umbrellas I could take to the beach. A nice bonus. Laundry was also on site, inexpensive and the dryers powerful. The location was really great with a nice alcove of food options right outside the hotel door, and a quick walk to the beach. In all it was a better experience than I thought it would be when I first arrived.

Will stay here again. Frayed but homey and clean. Kitchen has everything, big and small, except an oven. Walls are thick enough to block most sounds unless you get a noisy neighbor, but I only heard one over a week (next door, unfortunately). Location is great, including the restaurants directly in front. To get to Waikiki, cut through the International Marketplace, angle right and head down the lane next to the Cheesecake Factory.

Horrible place, horrible prices horrible: we checked in right before 4 pm the front staff was pleasant but not very helpful. Upon checking in they wanted another $40 on top of the $160 they charged but advertised the price at $98. They also wanted an additional $250 hold. So basically $450 for a crappy room. Refused a refund. Photos shown are not what the place looks like. No parking. False advertisement Ended up renting another room for the night. Do not stay here not at all worth it

Location is great BUT they charge a RESORT fee after you have paid everything. And also a 250$ HOLD on your card after you have arrived. not staying here again, as it messed up my budget as soon I was got into town. It’s definitely not a resort and not cheap as you first purchase

This is perfectly located in the middle of Waikiki. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are nothing special. It's smaller than we are used to, and the Murphy bed was comfortable. It is old and needs upnoise. If you can't sleep through noise, don't stay here. The nightclub downstairs and the courtyard are noisey. You are right on a major street. There is no on site parking. We parked at the public garage behind the Ross store. As long as we were out by 8 am the fees were half price. They only take credit cards Would we stay here again? Probably not but it was just a place for us to sleep so we were good with it.

Hidden gem. if you want a friendly helpful staff, great location, and a nice place to sleep in between whatever else you came to the Oahu for, this is it! Highly recommend. If you’re looking for someplace the locals love, book here! You won’t regret it. Aloha

Horrible stay. Zero customer service and staff doesn't care. Was surprised that the staff (guy with long hair) was keying on his computer (doing his job) while answering a couple of my questions just by a Yes or No, without even looking at me / making eye contact. So old and not that clean either. Murphy bed: disgusting. Plus the night club noise till 3-4 am.....To avoid at all costs. Better pay a little extra and get good service. Never again.
