I had takeout so I can only comment on that. Let me tell you, it’s one of the best BBQ joints in the country. I’ve had BBQ in several states, and this ranks up near the top. The sides are just as amazing as the meat. Don’t sleep on the sausage. Way good.

A fun little barbecue place to try if you’re in the Waukee area. We tried the brisket, chopped chicken, and the pulled pork. The pulled pork was the best in our opinion, and the chicken was also good. The brisket was fine, but in comparison to other brisket I’ve had in the area, it was a bit lackluster. The staff were very fast with food preparation and table turnover. We’ll definitely be coming back here when we want some good BBQ close by. Oh, and the mac’n cheese was delicious!

Listen... if you want amazing service and fresh bbq with top notch side choices.... run... don't walk... run.. for 91 dollars we fed 5 people with leftovers.. value and quality.. what more can you ask for.

Ate here after a trip to the movie theater next door. Great BBQ! This is my new favorite spot. Ribs were perfectly seasoned, perfectly cooked. Burnt ends were so tender. Brisket was also good. They have great homemade sauces, especially the hog sauce which is a delicious sweet vinegar sauce. Try it, you’ll like it. Highly recommended and great prices. Very reasonable. Service is friendly and prompt. And it smells fantastic in there.

Bbq sampler ribs,burnt ends and sausage. With mac and cheese, baked beans, and Tex Mex potato salad. Burnt end were delicious. This will feed 2 plus people.

WOW!! This BBQ joint is The BOMB!! Especially for my palate. Took a 2hr ride/drive looking for some good eats and scenery. Looking through Google, I came across Big Al's BBQ. I was looking at the reviews for Big Al's and there were a lotta bad reviews. While reading the bad reviews, someone mentioned Kue'd Smokehouse. So I made a decision to check them out. I have to say I was very impressed!! The staff was great. Especially the Host Travis. He was great to talk with about the history of this BBQ joint. The food was delicious!! I had a slab of ribs with the TIP still attached and Beef burnt ends with some sides. I did take home a pound of Smoked chicken wings for the Super Bowl tomorrow. All I can say is I will be paying you guys a visit again! And soon. Keep up the good work and Food.

Best bbq I’ve ever had. The owner is super cool and has even packaged food for me so I could share it with my family in California. The redneck nachos are to die for! The pulled pork is juicy, the cheese sauce is delicious and with everything else on top it’s just an explosion of flavor and I can’t get enough of it. Wish I lived in Iowa so I can have it often.
