I've lived up the road from this park for years. It's a great place to go get some fresh air and walk my dog around the path. The bathrooms and water have been shut off though for at least a couple years though. I wish they would make that available again.
Been taking my kids there since they were small, always a nice park.
This is a nice park for kiddos and adults. The area it's in is nice and peaceful enough, without lots of traffic. We visited the west side of the park, with the rock climbing wall, shelter house and play equipment. The play equipment is in good order and seems to stay fairly clean, and the park is kept mowed. The only issue that bothered me is all of the litter lying around. This is not the fault of Parks and Rec, but of the patrons of the park. There are trash barrels readily available and not over-filled, however the people using the park must be responsible for ensuring that their trash makes it into the barrels. We all need to do our share, and lose the "Someone else will pick it up" mentality.
Great little park off the beaten path! Very clean and well-maintained! Nice pathway that circles all the way around, great for jogging or walking the dog! Plenty of room for parking and handicap parking too! Several shelters and restrooms on the west side! Two kid-sized baseball fields! This is a good sized park, plenty of room for activites!
Beautiful park, nice trail, playground areas nice and clean! Love this park! If you are still a PokemonGo player, lots of pokestops too!
We really like going here. The walking trail is awesome. Plenty of open space. Two playgrounds one smaller for little ones and one slightly larger. Only four stars because I wish there were more swing options available. They also have two nice covered areas. We had my daughter's birthday here last year and it kept the kids entertained and provided the space we needed. :)
I went to walk my dog with a friend on the paved path. It is a nice figure eight path. You can Google the length of the loops. It has a play ground for the younger kids on Woodson Rd., and a playground for the older kid's with a climbing wall on 75th St. There are also 2 ball diamonds.
Cool location just a bit off the Rock Island Trail. Takes only about a minute or two to get there, but it's an interesting area. The tree signs are interesting too, but some are hard to read.
We'd give this bakery 10 stars if we could. Just stopped by for the first time and almost bought her out of pastries for the day. The croissants are so wonderful. We've had croissants in France and these are just as good! The donut holes and Long Joh
I went there for the first time today and really loved it. The layout and vibe are really really awesome. I had a really unique latte which was super yummy and I loved all the different menu options. I hung out there for a bit and got some work done
