It's up to you, gas station good atmosphere? Not really, but the chicken makes it seem better than it is, I think. If you have trouble with spicy, make sure you order with that in mind, or your chicken will have little rivers of hot sauce all throughout! If you dig spicy, well you get the picture. They have other things to eat as well, and it's open 24hrs a day! Woohoo!
This used to be my spot but I had one experience with one of the older new cashiers. She was hella rude, made me stand and wait, all I wanted was gas and chicken but all the employees were focused on one older Latin man while I waited in line, which I was the only person. It felt racist and I felt disrespected as a loyal African American, hard working, loyal customer...which I am not more. That did it for me because the lady made me feel like it was my fault they had me waiting and copped an attitude when I brought it to her attention. Her customer service skills suck monkey balls.- JSmith
24-hour krispy Southern-style chicken is the place to go when everything else is closed. If you are hungry after a long night in the club, be sure that you will find great chicken, biscuits, great potato wedges, and soft drinks.
Best chicken in the city off top!! (Not joking) first bite will have you hooked. Fair pricing and gas is just as cheap.
Really bad chicken. Dry, tasted old, lack of flavor. Maybe just the people working the day we went. I pretty much like all fried chicken but this was barely edible. The fries were also greasy and undercooked.

This gas station Krispy Krunchy Chicken is the BEsT krispy krunchy chicken in San Francisco!! (... and I have been to All the Krispy Krunchy Chickens in san francisco haha) i figured they all would taste the same....but they do Not. This krispy krunchy chicken has the bestest honey butter biscuits!! They are just full of flavor so moist and yummmmy!! They are Not dry at all ( a lot of the other krispy places ...the biscuits are just...dry..:( ..) and the blueberry biscuits!! Like the jiffy blueberry muffins..but a biscuit full of yummy~ness!! The chicken...also full of juicy yummy~ness...i dont know what they do different at this krispy krunchy chicken place ... but they are definitely the yummy~est krispy krunchy chicken in San Francisco!! When we first pulled up to this gas station..if you have ever been here or if you decide to go here (which everyone should try the food here!!) ....maybe just go during the day time..(haha..jk) if you are not use to the area tho...it can look... its san Francisco.. haha .. but dont be scared.. just run inside and order some krispy krunchy chicken food from here! Or even better .. you can just order some krispy krunchy chicken (the one on van ness ave ) from doordash or postmates and have the food come to you (: The only reason i put 4 stars instead of 5 is because sometimes the cashiers are kinda rude like or get irritated or something because i am not sure what they are saying and i keep saying .."what..?.." ..or .."..um..i dont know what you are saying.." but i guess i could see how that would be kinda annoying.. and the other reason why i put a 4 star instead of a 5 is because the sun face on the box freaks me out and is just creepy!! (Sorry if you never noticed the Sun pic on the box...until now because i had to point it out to you.. and now you will also be forever freaked out everytime you get a box of food from here.. .. sorry.) But dont let that stop you from getting food from here cause it is So Super Yummy!!
The high reviews for this place were not joking in regards to the fried chicken. Get over the fact that this is in a gas station and head over there for some of the best, most flavorful, and juicy chicken in the city. Don't forget the honey biscuit, mmm delicious! Oh gosh! And the Price! You can't beat it. I'm a Texas gal, so trust and believe I know what great fried chicken is. Sorry, no photos this time, This was a last-minute, late night quick bite to eat!
