Krispy Kreme - Donut shop in Duluth - 2346 Pleasant Hill Rd, USA

When this Krispy Kreme first opened, it was amazing: open 24 hours, all the donuts were delicious and fresh, and the service was top notch. I stopped going for a year and returned for 2 visits, once in December 2023 and one in January 2024: service was nonexistent, long waits with barely anyone in line; the last donut I got was dry, which I was able to remedy with a microwave. But this time, the donut I ordered, a raspberry filled glaze, has mostly dough and barely any glaze! If I wanted a regular glazed donut, then that’s what I’d order. I will not be returning.

This was my first time ordering and picking up from this location. I had placed my order a week in advance for the Elf special limited time, but when I walked in, my order was almost ready. The Asian lady just grabbed whatever was available on the shelf and stuffed it in the box. She did not apologize for missing other designs or for the late preparation of my order. She just handed over the box and didn't even say thank you. I found her behavior rude. This location seems like a scam and I have decided not to come back.

Loved the donuts and the atmosphere. The only issue is within the cashier/service area. The service is too slow and takes a lot of time for walk-ins. Everything else great!

Ordered 2 dozen mixed doughnut and all of the Boston cream doughnut's cream were filled with soap tasting cream which was the size of a nickel in each of the 4 doughnuts. 4 different doughnuts eaten by 4 different people and we all agreed it was soap. The staff were pleasant and the store was clean, but I'm sad about the soap.

My understanding is that this isn’t a good KK. The only time I had an issue was Friday evening, Sept 29th. They gave me the wrong order. Then when I went in the hot donuts looked like old ones they sent back through and the glaze was not right. The donuts were tiny but they did add extra. They weren’t bad, just not as good as they typically are. Again I only had that one problem although my friend who lives close by says it’s not a good location.

Had delicious warm donuts, staff was very nice, will always go back.

Second time visiting this location, first time going inside. The staff was very nice and promptly greeted us. I had questions about the app, and was helped with that. Ordered out donuts, served them up, and got us out without wasting our time.

Came on 12/12 for their dozen deal and did my order online for pickup. When I came, there were 2 lines and only one person working the register. Online orders are not ready upon pickup. I’m not a business person but it’s common sense to have more staff working the day you offer a promo knowing it will be busy. The purchasing line moved faster than the pick up line. This is ridiculous. I will not buy from here during promos anymore or at all. I waited for over 40 mins for an online order pick up. This is unacceptable KK!
