Krispy Kreme - Donut shop in Roanoke - 1625 Hershberger Rd NW, USA

Nice large location with the typical hot doughnut line in drive thru. Service was good with the waitress being helpful although her after was very flat. I asked for the apple fritter, and she appeared a little surprised that I was asking for the higher price item versus a regular donut at a more cheaper price. The selection is geared more towards the fall season with at least five donut options in pumpkin spice. Not everyone Likes pumpkin spice and it takes away from the regular donut flavors that are not being offered during this time of the year. The apple fritter donut that I had was OK at best there were only two pieces of apple on the entire fritter and the dough itself did not appear to be fully cooked, and it was laced with icing, which was fine. The Oreo doughnut is just that cookies and cream inside and out and appears to be a walking diabetes explosion. Overall it was an average experience. The prices were a little bit extreme. However, it's probably due to the increase cost and sugar these days you can get in and out of the location both inside and drive-through in a very quick fashion.

Just yesterday I went to crispy cream to pick up my pre ordered 4 dozen donuts of different varieties, I ordered 2 dozen christmas theme donuts along with 2 dozen raspberry filled donuts, however i did not receive all 4 dozen donuts i had pre-ordered at 11am. One of the dozen raspberry filled donuts were 7 lemon and 5 raspberry filled when i asked for them to all be raspberry filled. I did not notice this until i got home that night and looked at the box in disappointment because we had already been missing one of the dozen christmas theme donuts that they supposedly didn’t see on their screen when I had pre-ordered all of these 4 dozen donuts at 11am.

Thank you Mrs Melissa for the great costumer service experience you were such great help you save me and my daughter money with discount coupons you gave us and your services were so polite very friendly I drove from Lynchburg just I can get a couples dozen donuts for my family. I will definitely will come back and please when you visit this place thank her for her great service as in the food industry is not easy to find

The hot and fresh was on so we had to get some doughnuts. The doughnuts were good and fresh and the workers were really nice

Shoutout to this location. Every time I've been in there I've had a good experience. I've had issues using the app there and they still honored my deal. I partook in their free dozen to the first 200 customers, and they even snuck in a chocolate donut for a nice surprise!

I placed my order online for pickup. I arrived early at the drive thru and was asked to come back in about 15-20 mins. It was raining hard so I just parked on the other side of the store with the intent to drive back around in the 15-20 minutes. But before that time came around an employee brought my order to me in the pouring rain. And my doughnuts were still quite warm. I only wish I had gotten her name so that I could thank her personally and publicly.

I have been to this specific location on not one, not two, but three different occasions and wanted a specialty donut that was being advertised (mind you) on each visit. I was unable to get the donuts I wanted due to them not having any. Why is it that there are no specialty donuts available? What keeps happening to them? Why continue advertising products you do not have? Should I put together a class action for false advertisement? So many questions and so little answers.

The woman taking orders through the drive through had an attitude; when I pulled up and I said: “Good morning, I have a mobile order…” She said (with a foul attitude): “name?!” After giving the name the order was under, we pulled up to the window as directed (with attitude of disgust). She came to the window with our order and looked at me with a look of utter disgust, never said anything (not a “hello”, not a “have a nice day”… not a “good morning”… nothing)… she looked like she was absolutely miserable and pissed off… which she directed at us for what ever reason! Before I pulled away I said; “Aren’t you just a bundle of joy?!” She again gave me a nasty look and walked away into the shop. Also, though the “Hot & Fresh” sign was lit and donuts were on the conveyer; our order was ANYTHING BUT “Hot & Fresh”! It’s like we were given the “left over” donuts made hours earlier or the previous night. The donuts were “glued” to the bottom of the boxes! Many had to be “ripped off” in pieces. We love doing business with Krispy Kreme as our family loves the donuts every so often as a family treat. We will however NEVER grant this location business ever again! We travel to Charleston, SC roughly yearly and stay near the airport as it’s a 1/2-way point in our journey. Out of the dozens of K.K. shops we’ve visited… this was hands down THE WORST experience we have EVER had with K.K.!
