Krakus Restaurant - Polish restaurant in Wallington - 208 Main Ave #1442, USA

We came to have a lunch. The food was so delicious, authentic Polish food. We ordered chicken noddle soup, Polish Platters, chicken Devorah, coffee and the blintzes. The lady was very kind and warm. We”ll come back.

Let me tell you something, wow … don’t let the color fool you, this pork hock ( wow ) is super tasty juicy and delicious. It’s the best I ever tasted before. My daughter’s pierogi with meat is also so yum. We are definitely going back for sure. Thanks, Krakus!

Krakus is a nice place in Wallington, NJ, that serves really good Polish food. I recently went there and people working there were friendly and helpful. For my main dish, I had a Chicken Cutlet. It was juicy and had a crispy outside, and came with soft mashed potatoes and cooked vegetables. I enjoyed it a lot. After my meal, I had blintzes for dessert. They were thin, filled with sweet cheese, and tasted great. The flavors went well together and made me feel happy. If you want to try some good Polish food in Wallington, NJ, you should go to Krakus. It's a great spot for anyone eating alone or with others.

Awful. Went to celebrate with family and friends…evening was beyond disappointing. Multiple dinner choices were sold out and no longer available (even though we were there at 6:30 pm); ordered food as they still apparently had a lot of other appealing entrees; then waited. We waited until just before 8pm and still no food. We tried after about an hour to order an appetizer thinking that would at least get something on the table. Waitress received order, no difference …still no food. After about 90 minutes, we gave up and left. Most tables had customers, but the restaurant was not packed full. I would think, if I were someone reading this review, that maybe we were loud (we were not), we were argumentative (we were not), we were rude (we were not), or we were demanding (we were not). We just were a group of adults looking to celebrate with Polish food before the holidays (my wife is Polish), and politely asked 2-3 times the waitress for an update on the food (she repeated that it was still being prepared in the kitchen). Obviously we will not be going back, but it was so surprising to just be so ignored (as we saw other tables that came after us being served), and to not be served for no apparent reason. I normally choose to not write negative reviews, but this was truly incredible…in such a bad way. I would highly recommend NOT going to this restaurant.

If you are looking for authentic Polish food, you will definitely find it here. The decor is simple, The restaurant is cozy. Good place for lunch or dinner or to have a drink. Your can also host a party here - from baptism, to small wedding to wake... Only problem is parking - it is mostly street parking which is limited and during certain hours might be difficult to find

Great food, the waitress should add water more frequently. I ran out of water several times and had to ask her to add water.

The food is excellent- always very fresh and clean. We enjoy it every time. We love the pierogis and stuffed cabbage. The soups are excellent as well.
