K Pot offers both Korean Hot Pot and Korean BBQ. While we had a good time, our service could have been improved. We weren't informed about the sauce bar initially, which we felt could have enhanced the flavor of our initial meat servings. It's a lively place with fast-paced service, offering a dynamic experience for both Hot Pot and Korean BBQ at $35 for an all-you-can-eat experience. The sauce bar offers various sauces, fried shrimp, chicken, and more. You order using a tablet, and the menu has a wide selection of meats and sides. Among the items we tried were lobster balls, garlic shrimp, hanger steak, and K Pot steak (which could have had better seasoning). However, other dishes like scallops, mushrooms, and white rice were pretty decent. A highlight was the beef bulgogi, definitely a must-try. Overall, it's a place worth giving a shot!

Such a cool spot, and a dynamic experience available for both Hot Pot and Korean BBQ. We personally went with just the Hot Pot this time as it was plenty enough for us! But that's really cool that you can have Korean BBQ alongside it for only $5 more! The quality was superb and the selection vast. The sauce bar was the best I've seen from a Hot Pot venue too, very fresh and elaborate with kimchi and other things available there that you don't typically see. Thanks for the wonderful service Nixon, you were great! And the staff very efficient when ordering more from the tablet 😃

Okay This is Korean restaurant. if you're korean or Asian food lover, this is the best place for you. if you're living in Laurel, Bowie or Hyattsville axis, you will love it. The only problem is, you're been timed (2hrs), starting from when you sit, aside this, they have great service, please tip your server generously.

Love this new location, it’s right where Books-a-million used to be - next to Marshalls and on the same block as LA Fitness all in the middle of The Laurel shopping center. Pros: - This is a all you can eat Korean BBQ - There are multiple food options from beef to seafood - vegetarian and they will have it all - Everything on the menu is available at dinner time - Lunchtime menu is cheaper than dinner time - ordering replenishments from your table via an iPad is the most convenient option I have ever come across in a restaurant - The Waiters (and even managers) will come around and help you if you do not know how to work the grill or hotpot (especially if you are new to this) CONS: - No Takeout, this is a dine-in restaurant only - You can’t take home your leftovers, so only order what you can finish - Some dinner items will not be available during Lunchtime so schedule your visit accordingly - You can have hotpot only but you will pay same rate as BBQ and there’s an up-charge for hotpot even if that’s the only thing you want(I do not mind this because it’s less than $10 plus I also get bbq if I want) Food and Service is great per usual, they have new dinner items (especially love the lamb) The bar is still not open(they do not have a liquor license yet. However they have fountain drinks and co)- not sure if they a BYOB policy at this time, call ahead to find out prior to your visit

Great blend of hot pot and Korean BBQ. Order through tablet, it's rather convenient not having to wait for your server to come by. Garlic shrimp was my favorite for the hot pot, lamb for the BBQ. They do clap and sing for birthdays, FYI. The place is brand brand new, bar still under construction, not open. It's delicious though, with a great buffet of sauces and fruit and even french fries. Super friendly even to a baby in a stroller.

We had such a great experience at K Pot with Viet, he is the best server by far! Service was great and the food was delicious. Super friendly server, you can tell he really cares about his job, very attentive to our needs and always making sure were having a great time. It always makes going out super fun when you have a super nice and helpful server, The best part was the birthday celebration at the end, it was so much fun! Definitely make sure you ask for Viet when you come out so you can enjoy an awesome experience like we always do!

I have been to many K-Pots before & I usually go to the Rockville or Catonsville location. But, since this one was a bit closer & brand new, I really wanted to give it a try! But, this is the first time I have ever received bad food & service from ANY restaurant. I first arrived with my sister around 2:40 & was told there was a 35-45 minute wait which I do not mind waiting at all since I work as a server & am very patient when it comes to eating at restaurants. I get a text at 3:12 stating that our table was ready. We got sat & our server gave us the whole run down. We wanted the lunch special but was told due to the holiday, they were only serving all day dinner. Which we were fine with as well! Afterwards, I went to the sauce bar to make my sauce & noticed that the yum yum sauce was this very pale yellow color. Almost like mayonnaise which was a little weird, since its usually a pale orange color but we brushed it off. I then order 2 plates of beef bulgogi & two bowls of white rice. When I came back to the table, I saw the bulgogi & one bowl of rice. So I anticipated that they would bring the other bowl soon. The portions of meat were VERY small for the price we were paying. I counted 3 pieces of meat even though we were paying for the dinner menu, where usually the portions are a lot bigger. I place the food on the grill & noticed that the grill was never turned on. The server was attentive to all the other customers around but we were ignored. 8 minutes later, she finally comes up to us to ask us if we are ok & I say "i"m so sorry but I don't think the grill is on." She then grabs the grill, turns it on, & just walks off. Doesn't even apologize or anything. I always try to give people the benefit of the doubt since I understand how tough food service is, so I brushed it off. I cooked the food & the two plates that usually can feed the both of us, only fed one of us. 10 minutes go by & I still did not receive the other bowl of rice. I noticed the food runners bringing all the other tables their rice, but we had been waiting for a while for it. I figured that they may have forgotten, so I just placed another order of meat & rice & thought that maybe they would bring it then. The grill needed to be changed, so we waited again. 6 minutes later, we received the order of meat but once again, no rice! I try to ask the food runner, but they just walked off. At this point, I was beginning to feel upset. Our server continued to assist others. She would look at our table, but did not check up on us one time. I was able to ask the busser for the manager & I let the manager know what was going on. He told us he was going to check in with the server & see what was going on. He returns & tells us that there is a wait on rice & that it should be in a few minutes. He let us know that if we wanted to stay, that the rice should be out soon. But if not, we can leave. We understand that there can be a wait for things, but never once did our server communicate that with us. While he said that, I continued to see more food runners with rice on their carts. At this point, my sister & I just wanted to leave. We let him know that we were leaving & he apologized which was kind. As we grab our stuff, our server came back to our table & asked "are you guys ok?" in a very passive aggressive tone. As someone who works in the food industry, this was truly the WORST experience I've ever had. I will continue to go to Rockville & Catonsville. I don't plan on coming back here. I hate that I had to have such a bad experience at a restaurant I usually enjoy. :(

The food was good. The place was beautiful. We plan to visit again. Our server was not good. She appeared to be overwhelmed. She had to be asked more than 3 times to replace the grills and for other items. She kept repeating there is an 18% gratuity. Upon our next visit, we will make sure she is NOT our server!
