Koz on State - Apartment complex in Salem - 121 Commercial St SE, USA

I moved into Koz when it first opened in Spring 2021. It was exactly what I was looking for at the time and had everything my roommate and I needed! All utilities included (even wifi!) is genius and made splitting the payment with someone else super easy. I really loved my time here and honestly it was hard to leave. The location is extremely ideal for people like me who work downtown and it’s an added bonus to be surrounded by shops and restaurants within walking distance as well. The staff is great. Sara has been very kind and was always helpful. The maintenance crew is also wonderful. If you don’t mind a little bit of downtown Salem ambiance here and there (if you know, you know) then this place is great. I really don’t have any complaints personally. I will cherish the time spent and memories made here at Koz for the rest of my life. Thank you!

The front manger was very helpful and kind she even offer us a bed for temporary till we get on our feet, Neighbor very friendly and nice.Yes I would definitely recommend this place for family or anybody trying get on there feet.

I chose an apartment on 5th floor facing Commercial. Sara was so very friendly and helpful. I am not very tech savvy and she patiently helped me through the process. I am so excited about moving in next week on 3/28.

It is a nice apartment and management is absolutely amazing and always responds quickly! Nothing ever broke and for Oregon, it is a fairly nice apartment and inside the apartment it is very safe. The reason I give it 4 stars is it does not have a lot of amenities like air conditioning and there was not an oven in my studio apartment. Parking is also a problem and with living downtown, there are some safety concerns so do not leave anything in your car or it will get broken into. But otherwise it is a great place to live temporarily.

Koz on State is a good place to live, well secured and well managed. It is always neat and very calm. It is a place that I will always like to rent also encourage friends to rent. It is a good apartment. I love it.

Just moved in yesterday and very nice place so far and people who live here are very nice . Very peaceful .very safe .(update : we been here a few months and most everything is great and matience was fix my cabient and whenever there a problem the employees do everything they can to fix it . )👍

Building and staff is wonderful, but there has been constant construction in the area that is extremely disruptive for months. Being downtown is nice being near the shops and restaurants, but there have been many instances of non residents coming in and stealing packages and people sitting around the front of the building smoking because there is no smoking indoors. I was also unlucky to have very disruptive upstairs neighbors, as well. But my experience with Koz and management has been very positive and my apartment is very nice.

Bong was quick to arrive when the fridge started leaking. He was in and out in 10 minutes and even left the shop vac for me to use when the fridge fully defrosted. He always has a smile and is happy to help.
