Kotobuki - Japanese restaurant in Stamford - 457 Summer St, USA

I travel for work and have eaten sushi in tons of places. This place by far has the freshest sushi I have ever had. The sticky rice is incredible! The size of the rolls are not skimpy like I have eaten in other places. Trust me I don't leave reviews but they deserve one!

Really impressed with the quality of fish and service at this spot. Not a lot of dinner traffic - so I was suspicious. But the sashimi, service and sake were superlative! In short - great spot for a great Japanese meal! Will definitely be back!

I've been going to Kotobuki for many years now, and it has become my absolute favorite Japanese restaurant in town. The people who work there are amazing--they're kind, friendly, and always make me feel welcome. And the food...oh my goodness, the food is just unbelievable. If you want real Japanese sushi, this is the place to be. It's a hidden gem where you can get oysters, mackerel, and red snapper straight from Japan. The blue tuna is also particularly noteworthy. And the homie atmosphere just makes the experience that much more enjoyable. I highly recommend Kotobuki to anyone who wants to experience authentic Japanese cuisine.

Favorite sushi place in Stamford by far!! Doesn’t even come close. Started off coming here with my Dad years ago. I’ve tried a couple other places around town and there’s a reason I keep coming back to Kotobuki. 10/10 recommend. Gotta try the Kevin Roll!

My company has been going here for years - order here about once a week. Not one thing to complain about. The sushi is incredible, the employees are sweet.. will continue to keep telling everyone about this place.

Pretty good sushi for the area. The Kurosawa sake is really good, very smooth. The staff was nice. The place is really small, need to make reservations. Not much decor, only come for the food.

Best sushi in Fairfield county. Amazing service, fresh fish for sushi and delicious kitchen appetizers. Love coming here and won’t go anywhere else. Great staff.

Great sushi! Pricey, but worth it. The restaurant was full on a Friday night so there was a delay in getting the sushi but it was overall great. The waitresses were attentive but they missed orders from tables next to us (but not ours though). We also ordered udon and the broth tasted good.
