My cousin Gabe Michael and I have shared countless meals at Kostas Family Restaurant, a place he adored. I believe I've sampled every item on their menu, often indulging in a strawberry shake. The souvlaki and gyro stand out as favorites, but even a simple grilled cheese can be deeply satisfying. My experiences at Kostas are filled with joyful memories with family and friends. Over the years, the restaurant has evolved and improved, yet the exceptional staff and consistent quality remain central to its enduring success, making it a cherished venue for many wonderful moments. So Kostas is one of my favorite restaurants in Buffalo. I’ve been coming here since I was a kid. As an adult, I eat here 2-3 times a month whether it’s dine in or takeout. The last 2 times I ordered take out, it has born horrible and I have been unable to eat the meals. I will add pics of a rotted salad they gave me, as well as an undercooked order of spaghetti. You cannot tell it’s undercooked by the pics, but after 2 bites I threw it in the garbage. Such a waste of my hard earned money.

Everything is always wonderful sometimes the waiters are not very attentive...but the overall experience is great!!!

Definitely a repeat stop! Food was fresh and tasty. Excellent Caesar salad, omelettes were perfectly prepared - and our server Nicholas was perfection.

Food is usually good. I have been going to Kostas my whole life. Breakfast is solid. Souvlakis are very good, wish they offered a pork souvlaki option. Portions are usually generous. Vibe can be a little stuffy sometimes.

Good food, good service and a comfortable place to dine. It's easy to see why Kostas has a loyal following. We just enjoyed a nice brunch here. Gyro breakfast was a ton of food and was a protein filled feast. The "House Special Breakfast" was also excellent.

This place used to hit different. The service is like it used to be. I used to feel at home eating my Gyro or Shawarma, now I feel like just another customer. The food was, once upon a time, the best Greek in North Buffalo. Now it's just another Greek spot. I think the atmosphere did them in, now it's full of yuppies that care less about flavor and more about calories. I hate to say it, but I'll probably never be back.
