First time visitor and I acknowledge that a cold winter day was probably not the best time to showcase their wares. That being said, the folks at the counter were friendly. Unfortunately, they biffed both our orders. Deliciously edible but not what we wanted. The onion rings were a crispy delight, the skinny fries failed to deliver; they were half-to-completely soggy. The malt was a magical moment, even with January right outside the door. The ambience is clearly designed to grab and go. There were a limited number of standing only tables, no seating at all. Presumably this is a nod to the extensive outdoor seating that would be available in the summer time. A BIG extra credit point.....although you have to go outside to use the restroom, it was both clean and warm. Giant kudos for that! Steady business during our stay, clearly a tribute to their tastiness!
Let me help you order the best burger. Hamburger, no cheese, (I may lose some of you there) lettuce, tomato, raw onion, jalapeños, hot celery and toasted bun. And whatever custard, just try it and shop your favorite. You Milwaulee folk are so lucky!!
Stop reading this and just go to Kopps in Greenfield WI 🤤 Easily the best burgers of all time and outstanding custards and shakes. Got a single cheese with bacon; patty was large but thin. They recently changed their buns but buns seemed to melt into the patty and cheese. 👌 One shake was a butterscotch chocolate, the other chocolate raspberry; yes you can mix flavors. There can be a line, but worth the wait. Left side line is for custard only and the Greenfield location has a beautiful waterfall feature. No tables, only benches but why are you reading this, go to Kopps and taste why burgers were created.
Partner and I driving from San Diego to Va through Wisconsin to try their three famous burgers compared to his favorite burger "The in and Out" of California. He tried Culvers first now we're at Kopps. (Twice the size of ALL so far. He like the flavor of Kopps over Culvers and the In & Out burger. Kopps fries had the best "potatoe flavor" while Culvers fries were better in crunch and crisp. He thought Culvers custard was a bit more creamier but didnt enjoy the frozen fruit at the bottom of the cup. He liked Kopps flavors and selection better. AND..... for a 6ft 2(weight undisclosed)man that NEVER FOUND IT HARD TO FINISH A BURGER, HE TOOK HALF of Kopps HOME. 👍 Thanks to "Chole" who served us and suggested the best burger to compare and offered to cut my cheeseburger in half. I also took it home. So....I think Kopps is the one to beat but now on to MY home favorite George Webbs burger carmelized onions and hash brown. Mmmm Mmmm stay tune who wins.
How Culver's became the place we know butter burgers from and not this place is insane. The food at Kopps makes Culver's look like McDonald's in comparison. The burgers are huge, juciy and delicious. I'm so impressed. The frozen custard is also out of this world good. I just wish there was one closer to me so I could have it more often. My highest of recommendation. ❤️
This is the BEST BURGER ANYWHERE! Yes the Custard is King but the Burgers , Chicken and onion rings are just "old school" EXCELLENT". Order on line or at the fast counter but plan to wait as the food is NOT PREMADE. ALWAYS Fresh! Takes a very little time (our lunch was packed and we still got our food in less than 15 minutes). This tradition is the Best Milwaukee and Brookfield has to offer.
This location has gone DOWN, WAY DOWN!!! FIRST I got the sundae of the month which is SUPPOSED to come with cream cheese topping, I requested extra topping, I had a light drizzle of it over a couple of the pastry pieces…….Went back another time, I told 2 of the employees about my last experience & asked IF I could have some of that cream added on the Cherry Amaretto Cheesecake Ice Cream I was ordering, they got the manager after discussing it amongst themselves, the manager was TERRIBLE & HORRIBLE, “Giovanni” or some name like that, he did not greet me even after I extended a greeting & informed him I was awaiting a greeting, he still did not, after going over everything, he gave me some fancy name that wasn’t in the sundae description & finally stated they were not supposed to do it, but that he would put the topping over the 3 scoops I was currently ordering, which did MOT look as though there were actually 3 scoops in the cup, it looked like more of the topping than anything & had a horrible attitude when I inquired about the supposed “3 scooos”, so did the cashier, just very BAD/POOR “ Customer Service” overall at this location each visit, they aren’t even striving to keep the areas neat, clean or tidy……Unfortunately, I did not take a picture of my French Silk Pie sundae.
Like most custard places, the food is fine. Not stellar, but worth the price of admission. You're here for the custard. Make sure you get custard. It's the best custard. The brutal/modernist style of the place is really just rad as heck. Everyone in Milwaukee debates Leon's vs. Kopp's. Leon's is traditional, good at being simple and tasty. Kopp's gets more adventurous with its flavors, and I love it.

Cute and relaxing coffee shop anytime of the year! I stopped by on a surprisingly warm winter day, and it was pretty busy, with most of the tables filled. The shop is filled with plants, along with little descriptions in case you would like to purcha
Delicious food. The staff was very friendly and efficient. The decor is also very neat. My wife and I have now done both carry out and dine-in. Both times we are very impressed with the staff and with the food. The desserts looked absolutely amazing
What a fantastic find! Everyone needs a great breakfast spot and this is mine!! Chicken and waffles is my favorite dish with the chicken having a thin breading making it come out crispy and fresh. The chicken is a thin patty not tenders. It really w
Our puppy had her first salon visit today, and the staff was amazing. Not only did they take the time to walk me through the process (on a very busy day) but make sure she felt as comfortable as possible as well. Our "paw"gress report showed me how s

We had a great experience from the time that we parked all the way until we left the restaurant. There was no wait, we got a corner booth in a quiet part of the restaurant. Our server Bryan was attentive and catered to all of our orders expertly. The
It was a cold and rainy night so we pretty much had the dining room to ourselves. There were some folks eating at the bar, but with 7 of us, we needed a table. The dining area is large, yet the low ceilings made it feel more cozy. The service was
