Perfect winter hike. Drive up is adventure too - awesome views love did Wright Peak, recommend!! Its work. There's also opportunity to complete Howard & Buckingham peaks too. Look up Mt. Konocti on Alltrails. Cabin & airplane crash are on the Wright Peak Trail.

I was in Kelseyville for about 7 months and hiked this wonderful mountain about 3 times. Let me tell ya it was definitely a workout but it was definitely worth it. For a hike in California it's honestly not to bad. We hiked up in a snow blizzard also but we made it except for the dude that got frost bite

Up hill! If you like a challenge this one has amazing sites. The drive is on an unpaved street. Plenty of markers to keep you on the trails.

The view in July is fantastic! We only did the Wrights peak, 3miles single way, did a picnic on a helicopter pad with perfect view. The tower is closed to the public without notice, otherwise it could be perfect. The road has a dusty segment, don't drive your brand-new car there.

Great views, the clearer the day, the better. 3.3 miles to the top from the parking lot, 95% dirt road. Well worth the uphill.

Fabulous hike. I'd say intermediate ‐ steep at first through an olive Grove then a wonderful wander through wooded and mostly shaded forest Road. The last half mile is steep again. Star early morning to get up and back down before the sun hits the middle of the sky. Take drinking water. Toilets available. Some interesting plaques about history and geology. The smoke from the wildfires spoils the views many days.

Awesome views of the lakes. A good 2.5 miles hike with nice dirty road all the way up to the top.

A pretty grueling hike, but the views from Weights Peak are spectacular. BRING WATER!
