This place is amazing. If you’re in Spartanburg, SC and want to have some amazing Japanese style cuisine and sushi, this is your place. Located in the downtown area, there are plenty of amenities nearby to checkout while you’re there. I had the Super Bowl which is a Hibachi Rice Bowl made with jumbo shrimp, chicken, and NY Strip steak and was cooked to perfection. The jumbo shrimp were actually jumbo too. Not pictured is the Tiger Clemson Roll that we had for an appetizer. I would come back just for that. The servers were very attentive, and the establishment was clean. We will definitely be coming back for another round during our stay here in Spartanburg.

My girlfriend and I wanted to check out the restaurant after asking about sushi. The restaurant was very clean and inviting, nice decor. The Chicken and NY Strip Bowl, Seaweed Salad, Japanese Beaver Roll, and the Rainbow Roll were all great. Along with a Kirin Ichiban, made for a delicious meal.

I. Am. In. LOVE!!! I'm a food snob. I've never denied that. But when it comes to the best sushi I have experienced since I left the island of Oahu in Hawaii, THIS is the place. Raised in Charleston, SC, moved to San Diego, CA, then to beautiful, sunny HI for many years, I have had some of the freshest, most amazing seafood, sushi and sashimi you could possibly imagine. NO PLACE NEAR SPARTANBURG comes close to the quality I get to experience each time I dine here. I haven't tried the BOILING SPRINGS location, but the DOWNTOWN SPARTANBURG location is the only place you need to know about! These guys are so meticulous about the ingredients and the preparation of the gorgeous displays of fresh fish, crustaceans, and various other menu items they serve. Their service is impeccable, and they are extremely attentive. I truly can not say enough about Konichiwa!!!!! Come out and see for yourself what I'm telling you!!!

During my first visit to Konnichiwa of Spartanburg, I found the staff to be friendly, though not particularly memorable. The sushi, unfortunately, didn't quite hit the mark for me. The Rockin Eel Roll was a letdown, and the Mango Roll was somewhat difficult to eat. It's not my nature to be overly critical, but based on this visit, I'm inclined to say it's unlikely I'll return.

We ordered 2 rolls. I have eaten better sushi/ rolls at a typical Chinese buffet places. Absolutely dissapointing...

Wonderful food, excellent service. Sushi was good and the miso soup and house salad were much better than I was expecting.

I was in Spartanburg on a Saturday so decided to try this place and am so glad that I did. The service was fast and very friendly. Atmosphere was nice and clean. And the sushi was amazing. Usually when you go to a sushi place in a smaller town most of not all of the rolls have cream cheese but this was not the case here. And that’s a really good thing. I had the Cassy roll and HaDouken roll and both were top notch and on par with great sushi from a big city. If this place was closer to me I’d be a regular.

BSA Roll was my meal. I enjoyed the roll & the employees were nice. Steak rice bowl & scallop rice bowl were also good, I love the presentation too
