Stopped by for lunch. My Bride and I split a two entree Aloha Plate. The protein was chicken, one was the "Kona Fire" and the other was "BBQ" along with Spam Musubis. We also ordered a peach green tea boba. Everything was made to order, the drink out first. My Bride said it tasted fresh made, not fake, with real peaches. The rest of the order came out hot and fresh. The Musubis was good, but the nori was a bit more like paper to bite. It tasted good but was difficult to tear with my teeth. Both kinds of chicken was delicious and the small salad was a good addition. It is a shredded lettuce mix and lightly topped with a type of lemon ginger dressing. The restaurant was clean and the staff kept up with wiping the tables as people left. They stayed steady with people on a Saturday afternoon. We will eat here again.

Have you ever woke up from a dead sleep just absolutely craving a certain meal? That was me yesterday…bam 7am, wide awake…all I could think about was a Hawaiian Plate Lunch. Time to take an adventure to Longmont to visit Kona Hawaiian BBQ. Fast service, delicious food! The short ribs were perfect and so tender! Mac salad was perfect too. I was pleasantly surprised how tasty and authentic the plate lunch was, definitely far better than anything else I’ve had that has claimed to be Hawaiian, here in Colorado. 100/10 will be back as a regular customer. The stoke is so real to have this awesome spot in Longmont! Kalbi Short Ribs Korean Style Beef Short Ribs | Rice | Macaroni Salad | Veggies *please note - this dish is served traditionally with 2 scoops of rice and 1 scoop of Mac Salad, staff accommodated my request of two scoops of Mac Salad

Tried Kona Hawaiian BBQ in Longmont for lunch. It was a pretty good counter service [with drive through] place. I had the fried shrimp appetizer and the aloha plate with chicken katsu and Kalua pig. The fried shrimp was pretty meh cooked well but butterflied thinly so not much shrimp flavor. The chicken katsu and Kalua pig were both very good. The toss [sic] salad was good with the house dressing I think a ginger miso(?) The music was a very cool eclectic mix which certainly added to the ambience. Definitely worth going again.

Been back multiple times and couldn't be happier. STILL! ------- UPDATE -------- We couldn't of been happier when we heard from our neighbors that there was a Hawaiian place now in Longmont. I mean - how could we miss this?! (We're from Hawaii and the closest Hawaiian food before this place was down in Aurora!) Placed an order online which was fast & easy. It was ready exactly at the time I was quoted. Nothing but good vibes inside, great customer service and I love the fact they were playing reggae music vs literal Hawaiian language music. It made it feel just like walking into a local place back home. Man, was the food GOOD! I can't tell you the last time I had Teri Beef & true Hawaii Bbq Chicken. The Mac salad was also awesome! I just wish the scoops were a little bigger for an even balance. Crab rangoons were just...the best. Nuf sed' Just a little tip/suggestion - back in Hawaii when they do the plates...in order to stretch/not waste they shred the cabbage instead of whole pieces. The cabbage is usually just meant to catch the juice from the meats on the plate. Little bit extra sauce on the meats btw - keeps it from drying out :) Can't wait to hit you guys up again on my birthday! PS - There's a drive thru

I had the chicken teriyaki with white fish rice and salad. The chicken was moist and tender. The fish is nice and crunchy on the outside and moist inside. Customer service was great. Will definitely be going back. You have the flavor of Hawaii.

It's great to have this addition of Hawaiian food in Longmont. Seems it's been fairly popular. The service from staff was excellent. I ordered to go, kalua Pork, chicken katsu and BBQ chicken plates. I think the prices are very reasonable, the food tasted fresh. The kalua Pork 4.5 stars was excellent tasting despite not having much color. The portion could of been slightly bigger while still reasonable. The chicken katsu was a 3.8 . The breading perhaps is bit coarser than usual panko. The chicken while was good was not as tender or tasty as would expect, there was no katsu sauce served with it which is what makes it its own dish. The BBQ chicken was quite appealing, full of color and taste. It's been a favorite amongst family so far 5 stars. I would definitely recommend and great option instead of having to drive to any far away options for Hawaiian.

This is the best fast food you can get in Boulder County period in my opinion. Fast service, simple menu done right every time, but still plenty of variety. I've ordered a few things from the menu and never once regretted it.
