The best server we ever is James! He was so attentive and made sure our experience was more than amazing! I order the SAKI SANGERIA, pretzels, and fried rice. So good all of it! It was our celebration night and we had the pound cake for dessert. Highly recommend the music was rockin!
Little bit more upscale than your average place to go to lunch. Parking was somewhat of a hassle but you can park next-door and they validate. Food was great from the menu. It looks like the place is known more for its seafood and sushi then the burger I ate. Definitely will be back next time. I'm visiting in Colorado.
High quality dining experience! We had outstanding service and the food was very high quality and skillfully prepared. Slightly pricey, but generally more upscale than most establishments. Recommend happy hour!!
Let me Tell yall something Tera is our Girl, she was awesome with her customer service and recommendations. She made sure we knew the options of special order and everything. Thanks Tera,You make Kona Grill Customers Happy. 😊 Nice ambience and great location. 👍
I went for happy hour on Friday. I knew it would be pricey but wanted to see if portion size was worth the price. The decor is pretty nice but they need to clean a lot better, there’s an old bar, old spilled drink odor in this restaurant. The food was amazing but portion was very small for the price. I ordered the salmon with fried rice. Also the margarita tasted like a mix, could have been better and stronger. Service was super slow so I was there for a while. I would get the salmon again, I’d just get it to go since dining in wasn’t pleasant. I pretty much devoured the salmon whole, it was like having a snack lol.
This was our first time at Kona Grill and I can confidently say our whole experience, from walking in until our departure, was PHENOMENAL! Heather helped us right away at the front, she made sure to ask our preferences on seating and that we were happy with our table and placement! We then had Kaden greet us with a great smile and vibe! He made us feel right at home with his greeting and description of who Kona Grill is and what to expect with our first experience here! He was knowledgeable on cocktail/spirits selection and put in our drink orders for us. Our server Carter was absolutely amazing and made our already great experience FANTASTIC! He was fun, engaging, organic and friendly! He gave us suggestions that we were not disappointed with in any way…in fact we were overly happy with what he suggested in our ordering! He invited us back and we will definitely come here for our future trips to Colorado! A big thank you to this Kona Grill staff for the great food and , even more important…the top shelf customer service! 10/10 WOULD RECOMMEND!!!
I want to start this review by giving a shoutout to our server, Wyatt. He provided the best service I’ve had at a restaurant in I don’t even know how long. His recommendations were great, he was attentive, and professional. As far as the food goes, Kona Grill never disappoints. The ribeye meatballs were great but the sunset roll was out of this world good.
I gotta get this out there - this is probably the most egregiously overpriced restaurant I've ever been to in my life and it isn't even close. Look at my profile - I've been to A LOT of places. Every single menu item should be AT LEAST $8-10 cheaper MINIMUM. Almost everything in this restaurant can both be beaten by yourself at home with minimal effort or beaten by another restaurant of higher quality for 30%+ cheaper. I'm not kidding - I wish I was. I'm going to give you some TL;DR quick points in this review since this ended up getting long: 1). 90% of other sushi restaurants in Denver will give you the same quality rolls for $10 cheaper 2). Texas Road House makes better steaks for cheaper 3). You can beat out Kona Grills steak at home with minimal effort 4). I can give you 3-5 better options that are cheaper and better tasting of any type of food Kona Grill serves WITHIN THE CHERRY CREEK AREA ALONE. Up that to like 10 options of any type of food Kona Grill serves if you are talking about the entire Denver area. It's that rough. I'll say the one good thing that was more on the 4/5 side was the chicken I got. It was $33 and really good + unique. It was still overpriced but at least you got a large quantity of food for your large amount of money and could maybe split the meal if needed. The sushi was... Just okay? Like every other sushi establishment has the same types of rolls for $10 cheaper. It's pretty instulting. Like the roll wasn't bad or anything, if the roll was $12 instead of $22 that would have been fair, buy jeez it was so absurdly mid. You can go to top end sushi restaurants and order a roll 10x better for the same price - just to let you know. The surf and turf. Oh the surf and turf. Probably the most embarrassing feature of this entire meal. I probably cooked a better fillet on my 2nd or 3rd try ever attempting to cook a fillet. Texas road house gives significantly better quality for a larger amount of food plus cheaper. I got a 4oz fillet + a shrimp skewer for $50. You can go to Guard and Grace, one of the best steakhouses in Denver, and get an entire waygu flight (3, 4oz fillet steaks) for $100. Enough for you to share with someone else and you still get more bang for your buck. Oh and the steak is just indescribably better. I don't really know what to say - go literally anywhere else for a steak... Just... Wow on this one.

Absolutely exceptional. Food was the star of the show ... and I'd say star quality. We had the Butternut Squash Arancini , Duck Confit , and the Beef Coulotte. All accompanied with delicious sauces, reductions and colorful creations... I would wr

Great food and amazing decor. Probably the best ambience in Denver. The bathroom is ridiculously cool. It is hidden in the wooden walls behind the sink. Pull the right chord to start the water flow for the "sink" and then pull the left to stop it. Th
Based on other reviews we decided to try this place out after finding out our flight was delayed, and eventually cancelled. I ordered the Buffalo and Jamaican Jerk Dry Rub wings which were pretty good. Decent selection of beers. My kids ordered the
The food was absolutely amazing. So good I got a second dog. The only down side was tipping ahead of time only to find out the only thing the employees do is bring the food out you ordered at the register. Everything else is on you.
Smoked buffalo wings were really good. I appreciate a house made sauce and this buffalo wasn't too spicy which was nice. Side of carrots and celery were very fresh. I also had the simple arugula salad and the greens were fresh. I was told beforeh
