Can't say enough about Kona. I ordered a 5-10 41L Twinner and the board is great. It was a custom order and there was a hiccup with the dimensions but Nick handled the issue well and the board is amazing. I surfed it in knee, waist and chest so far and it performed well in all those conditions. This was my first board from Kona and I wish I would have come to them sooner. I've tried so many boards and the smallest board I could find that worked in small waves was a 6-4 48L. The Twinner is so much better in small surf. I can't believe how a 41L board can catch tiny waves so easily. They have a nice range of boards and you can easily customize any dimensions on any of their boards. They also have demos you can try before buying. It's hard to believe you can get such a quality board that performs so well at such a fair price. I'm stoked to try more of their shapes. Review update: purchased my second board from Kona, 5-10 Zen fish. Nick recommended this board and sizing for me. I’m blown away again. The zen catches the tiniest waves and it is fast and loose. Great experience again!
This shop is awesome! If you’re looking for a true surf shop this is your place. Nick was great and got us set up with boards for the entire week we were here and gave us the low down on breaks to hit while we were here. Good stuff!
Walked in knowing next to nothing about SUP’s and the sales associate gave us a full education. They were professional and knowledgeable. Definitely worth a visit if looking for anything surf related.

Kona is the best! I ordered a custom fun board with them and I couldn’t be happier. Every detail was meticulous. They went over everything over the phone, made sure they understood exactly what I wanted and kept me updated along the process. They also sent it off to a wonderful artist (Bryan Fischer surfboards) and he came up with a beautiful design. I can’t say enough positive things about my experience. Highly recommend this board shop!
Purchased 2 foam boards in January. Noticed some peeling on one of the boards after 1 use. Brought board in to see if/how we could fix it. They swapped out board for a new one immediately. I certainly never expected that type of service or warranty. Totally surprised and pleased! They stand by their products and services. Great boards, great service!

Great place to watch the sunset and take pictures. When we came on Thursday there was a live band playing which was fun! There is also a tiny bridge that is perfect to take your picture with views of the bay and the sun setting.
